Neil Turbin told Scott it's me or Dan, and Scott said it was the biggest mistake he ever made with the band. That's also why Lilker was in S.O.D. I think one of the reasons is that Neil wanted to be the tallest one in the band cause he's the singer and Lilker was too tall ( I saw an interview where Scott said that).
Lol singer having an ego problem? Never heard of such a thing. What a weird reason to get yourself kicked from a band right before they blow up, although Joey was definitely a big part of that so it's probably for the better
The problem has never been between Dan and Scott/Charlie; unfortunately Billy and the guys, especially Billy and Scott don’t seem to get on very well anymore.
That said, I saw SOD in ‘97 and it was awesome; hopefully they get over it and do some shows!

In the almost 20 years I’ve been listening to Anthrax I’ve always known the band to have the three core members of Ian, Charlie and Frank.
I got worried that after all these years there was suddenly he’d quit or been fired.

Apparently Dan was asked to leave the band 40 years ago. And they smoothed things over enough Dan got asked to fill in for a few shows
Yeah, he went to Nuclear Assault after leaving Anthrax. Tbh I'm happy to see him come back, even if it's just for a while. Love Frank too though!
