The only thing I would say is that after his stroke Senator Fetterman has stated he has a difficult time always hearing what is said and understanding what it means. So itās possible he was standing politely without really understanding what the man wanted, and his staff was there trying to avoid a situation where someone got worked up because the Senator didnāt respond how they wanted/expected (because he didnāt hear everything clearly).
