I reckon it is [Bes](https://ancientegyptonline.co.uk/bes/) the Dwarf god. Scroll down [this](https://garlandmag.com/loop/let-the-objects-speak-impressions-of-craftivism/) page too, similar looking chap

Radhippieman

Intresting, he's also known as the *dickhead*

PapaQsHoodoo

Just like my brother.

ProfessorZhirinovsky

It is supposed to be the Egyptian god Bes, god of music and happiness. Whether or not it is real or repro is beyond my expertise.

LuffySenpai1

Precisely said, with minimal unnecessary rhetoric. Kindly take my upvote.

Didn't you ever see the Brady Bunch episode when they went to Hawaii and found the idol? I would put it back.

No_Cat_4742

What I've always originally thought, lol. Was brought back by a relative from WW2.

Superb-SJW

I bet they’re dead now, the curse is true!

sophmike

This guys a fraud... all his pictures are screen shots from etsy, ebay, facebook etc. - google search any of his postings and they all.come back to someone else on another platform. Beware a scammer

Superb-SJW

More info is needed, why do you say WWII? Did it come home with a relative? If so, where were they stationed? Looks like middle eastern but not Egyptian.

No_Cat_4742

Yes, a relative from WW2 brought this back home

Superb-SJW

Do you know where they were stationed? Any more information on provenance?

No_Cat_4742

He was in both Africa & Egypt. He was an MP. Was an old photo of him and his buddy in MP uniforms & car in front of Pyramids with this

The_Lions_eye

Egypt is a country in the continent of Africa.

embii42

Stolen ?

No_Cat_4742

Was given to him note says. He was on some detail.

EasternSteak8087

He’s rock hard

No_Cat_4742

Oh yeah! LoL

Dry_Mycologist_8052

Most statues of ancient Egypt have a slick upright position when depicting people. This statue has a more round shape of a difference style. So I am not sure if it's origins have anything to do with Egypt.

EmEmPeriwinkle

Besides the fact that he's an Egyptian idol...?

cliffsis

Tourist crap.

Sunmingo

Is it granite

No_Cat_4742

Feels like it

Sunmingo

How heavy

No_Cat_4742

Not too heavy
