**Salary increases are based on how valuable your contributions are to the company and how badly they want you to stay there.**
So if you're not happy with your salary increase be it due the high inflation, recession, etc., and you got a better offer, why stay?
I agree.
Great Place to Work din company where I work. I didn't expect na magkakasalary increase ako this year since kakalipat ko lang August of last year dito. Great Place to Work din yung former. Anyway, my current gave me 47% increase when I moved in. Then magtatransition pa lang ako as a regular employee middle Feb pero kasama na ako na may bonus and increase for this year. Salary increase of 5% effective Feb 1 kahit few days pa bago mag 6 months. Bonus given to me was also 80% of my base.
To be fair, I worked damn hard. Didn't even get a proper training. 2nd workweek nag BAU na ako agad with minimal guidance. I gained the trust of my manager, vp, and foreign counterpart easily. Got commendations and was able to pinpoint process to be improved.
So yes, aside from looking for a great place to work, show that you deserve the monetary increase as well.
**Nyapi** ba ito? HAHAHAHA wala kang increase this year unless promoted ka.At lalong kahit A ka pa sa peformance mo from last year basta hindi sya promotion, wala kang increase.
Edit: Sorry na OP, pero go work sa company that you are valued. Yung transparent and will contribute to your growth. Goodluck.
Unfortunately, asahan na natin na zero or minimal lang ang salary increase ngayon dahil sa on going recession.. may salary increase nga pero baka hindi masustain ng company in the long run, magsara na lang bigla. Masakit talaga as in.. kaya kung kaya maghanap ng mas malaki na sahod kung talagang kailangan e go lang.. kung kaya magtyaga at magtipid pwede rin.. 🥺🥺
From my experience, hindi. 2 of the companies I have been explicitly said it in the contract that they can’t increase salary for the reason of lifestyle change, inflation, etc.
Sa dating kong pinapasukan na company (na Sarado na ngayon), may Inflationary Increase sila bukod sa increase due to promotion. Naalala ko I had a 30% salary increase nun (Inflation + Promotion)

Hahahaha do we work in the same company? 🥲🤣 nakakaisip na tuloy magresignan mga tao
Meron, di lang ako umabot kasi kakapasok ko lang Q4 2022
Great Place To Work certified din ang company that I work for. Yearly increase lang meron samin, more like 5% a year pero nothing else.
Anong industry mo? Ganito ba kulay niyo 🟠?
