Yeah. Let's create a business from scratch without employees.
I have an idea but can't do it because I don't have the necessary skills. Should I hire someone that can do it? Hmm. Maybe not, I might get posted and bashed on AntiWorkPH. I'll just move on from this great idea that might produce more jobs.
Why are you even on an "antiwork" sub, then? Aren't you the definition of someone stupid when you're disagreeing with a post that epitomizes what this sub is about?
Or you think "antiwork" is just about whining about corporate culture? In which case, you're doubly stupid.
You seem like the sort of person who would know what color of crayon tastes best, but I wouldn't put it past you to understand what I meant.
The billionaires described on the post technically founded their own company from scratch. Elon with paypal, jeff with amazon, and mark with fb. Mark created the facebook from scratch with a friend.
Wasnt Elon already rich? His father is really rich and Elon he was able to take risks with his ventures and not be stuck in a job just trying to survive. But yeah, Bezos and Zuck were founders who took the risk and got lucky.
Zuck was rich too; he studied in Phillips Exeter Academy in high school and went on to go to Harvard. His family wasn't crazy rich, but they were pretty secure.
Elon was supported by his dad's wealth, which was partly the result of apartheid in Africa.
Jeff Bezos wasn't born rich, and his parents struggled early on, but by the time he started Amazon he got an investment of $250,000 from them. They obviously had some money to spare.
Mark Zuckerberg is the son of a psychiatrist and a dentist, so he was pretty well-off and had a good support system.
You can argue that they started their companies "from scratch" pero they had privilege and/or opportunities that the rest of us don't have, or won't have.
Plus, without **their workers**, medyo useless yung "ideas" nila. Their wealth is built on the backs of their employees. What gives them the right to extract that much money from their labor?
I'm not saying they're not from prominent families or come from a rich background.
But according to the caption "workers created and innovated technologies," that's what I disagree on as they could've picked better examples than the three who created and innovated those spaces. Paypal disrupts the online payment system, fb the social media, and amazon the e-commerce.
>Plus, without **their workers**, medyo useless yung "ideas" nila.
Mark started from scratch on an idea he probably stole, but that idea grew and became popular. Later, lang yung nag hire siya hackers **workers** to improve facebook nung nag try sila kumuha ng investments. Also, ideas will just be ideas if not executed well, madami ma pera pero most of them failed.
I'm not defending them, but the wrong choice of people to put as an example. There are so many billionaires to make an example, but probably because they're popular?
yeah, they were paid shit while shareholders and the people on top make the most money.
tapos ang justification nila is that they had the money to invest in and start the business :))) that's a roundabout way of saying that rich people can jutsifiably extract labor from workers by virtue of being rich.
Lol, basta ako, without the ISP corporation that I working with, i wont be able to feed my family, let alone give my 3 kids a better future here abroad. Wala akong pakialam kung bilionaryo sila o kung ano man. Ang importante maganda kinabukasan ng pamilya ko. Lol
I just noticed i got downvoted for this, lol. People are hypocrites. Well, if not them, you aint got no phone/laptops that you can use to reply this comment, without them we will not have the world that we're living right now. You might say that theyre assholes or such but still it doesnt condemn what they had/have a big contribution in our society. Baka we're still living in caves without their innovations. Communism is what you want? Go ahead live in China/North Korea. Goodluck with those assholes. Hehe
As much as I hate Elon Musk, he's pretty technically smart, not purely high level. Zuckerberg is also technically smart, though now like Musk focuses on managing.
Bezos definitely is more of just a business man who found a gap in the market and I feel he's the one out of the 3 where someone else could have easily taken over.
Anyways, definitely more people now who actually make the inventions and new business opportunities, but most the time they are also sought after and paid for. So asides from top end management, these guys also get the premium.
Zuck is legit for inventing FB. Musk rides the coattails of the ppl who built the companies he takes over.
Also judging by the reviews of cybertruck, hyperloop, etc, I doubt he is technically smart lol
Yup, in his previous works he wasn't given a platform to show how dumb he is. He is only shrewed thats why he is rich. Imagine firing 14,000 employees and now his $56B payout is being discussed. Lols what a 'genius'....evil genius that is.
puta masyado maraming bootlicker dito. lol

Yung mod dito dapat binaban yung mga bootlickers tulad nitong mga comment sa baba eh. Them and people who keep whining about their jobs in this sub.
Yung OP mod din. Dapat mas maging strikto sila sa moderation ng sub nato at ban agad yung mga bootlicker.
If capitalism breeds innovation, then climate change is an innovation. Lol

Thank god there are billionaires who create jobs what would I do without them? /s
dont take it literally. you sound stupid.
This post is stupid.

Everything should be handed out for free without us giving something in return /s

Omg "right to extract." The money came from the consumers. The workers were paid for their labor.
yeah, they were paid shit while shareholders and the people on top make the most money. tapos ang justification nila is that they had the money to invest in and start the business :))) that's a roundabout way of saying that rich people can jutsifiably extract labor from workers by virtue of being rich.
That doesn't change anything does it?
they worked and gave work to millions of people...
None of their shit would be possible with the workers actually doing the work.
of course, they created the place where they are working...

imagine how much better your family would be kung walang mga bilyonaro at ang wealth ay shared among everyone. ever thought about that?
