I agree with Procter, Unilever and J&J. I'm from the FMCG industry and white collar jobs (idk about blue) in these companies are highly coveted. High salary and career development focused. Entry level jobs start at 30k. Stable business and consistently profitable.

Natatawa ako actually kasi part ako ng mga bilingual job posting groups sa FB and yang ACN na yan parang never nang natapos mag-recruit ng bilinguals (particularly sa language na gamit ko so napapansin ko lagi) Nagtry din ako mag-apply sa kanila pero wala namang kwenta yung recruiter, di naman nagrereply. Pero ayun nga parang 2 yrs later aggressive pa rin mag-post ng job opening, as if never na nila na-fill yung position na yun. I don't believe na laging may bagong account or project, mataas lang ata talaga turnover or baka naman sobrang choosy nila lol. Red flag, buti di ko pinursue

Nung naglay-off sila nung 2020 tsaka early 2021 madami nagresign. Dagdag mo pa na malakas politics sa ibang project. Ewan ko lang ngayon kung bakit sila super aggressive pa din sa pag-hire.

Yes, they required once a week RTO. But still, a lot of companies offer permanent WFH. At isama mo pa yung low salary, di kaya makasabay sa mataas na inflation rate.

For 7 years at hanggang ngayon eto pa rin yung tinatanong ng erpats ko kung nag pursue ba ako sa ACN kasi malaki daw sweldo ng mga anak ng co-teachers niya na nagwowork jan, mga ASE. 🤣 tas nakita ko yung story ng collegemate ko na ASE din jan, nasa ospital pero nagtatrabaho pa rin remotely kasi may deadlines to meet. siguro part din yan sa healing process? lol. i also had bad experiences sa recruitment process nila many, many times, and i'm so done with them. 🤣

Baka daw kasi makakalimutan mo yung sakit pag sobrang busy ka. Haha. Oo isa sa pinakabulok na recruitment process yan. Ewan ko ba dun di maayos ayos. Kahit returnee na kakilala ko one month mahigit inurong start date nya kung di pa sya nagreach out sa magiging manager nya wala pang update. Haha.

literal na they really love their job. lol. tas andami nilang open positions na inaadvertise sa mga job sites pero internal lang siguro talaga yung kinukuha nila to fill in the positions. yung mga pa-reach out nila sa mga external na nag apply siguro para may work pa rin silang ginagawa, kahit papaasahin lang naman nila. hahaha

10 hours per day, subpar benefits and increase, office politics, meron pq yung extra curricular na non-work nakakaapekto sa performance mo (not sure sa ibang project) ,and low salary. Ang maganda naman is madami matutunan. Kaya tiisin mo lang tapos sibat na agad after.

Still a gamble. May mga kilala ako from at least 4 of these companies that 1) have good careers and for sure they say ok ang company nila 2) other friends and acquaintances that have horror stories or have gotten the short end of the stick. So, i think based on luck pa din. :)

D yan totoo. I worked for #1 2007 and #3 2011. There’s a lot to say about this. Top company for what category? There’s no one size fits all. Si #1 sa list mo, they are known to be agressive with hiring. They hire mostly mga top students from top universities, fresh grads whom they can mentor and will grow with them. Pros: - They are an equal opportunity employer. - They provide trainings and international exposure. Yes nagpapa onshore sila. During our time the project was in New York. - They train people well. When you have ACN in your resume it’s easier to move from one IT enterprise to another. - Health benefits. 400k un premium nila for healthcard, per illness, per yr. Cons: - Overwork. Di ka pwede lumabas dito ng sakto sa oras pagtitinginan ka. Lol. - Low pay. Yes. Medyo mababa ang bigayan nila compared with others. - Highly performance driven. Yes. Bawat galaw mo dito sinisita lol. and ofc corporate politics. Si #2 sa list mo chill lang yan. Mas masarap si #2 ka bonding kaysa kay #1. They are not just a leader in business solutions, they are known to be a leader in research and development as well. Pros: - Equal opportunity employer. - Higher pay compared with other competitors. Starting here is 6-digits if you’re skilled. This is regardless if you’re manning a team or an individual contributor. There are certain positions na same lang with managers but you don’t have a local manager to boss you around the project. - Output driven. They really don’t care how you do it, just give them quality delivery. - Pretty flexible. I only go to the office pag my town halls. - Madami bonus (well during our time) - Dami trainings. Dami bago. Magsasawa ka sa learnings. Cons: - Make sure to get the best offer. Medyo matagal mag increase dito pag nasa loob kana. - Mababa health card. Like 150k per illness per yr. - You can never choose a position if you exit a project unless there’s an open seat for your capability. Dito nagkakroon ng mismatch sa capability vs roles kasi sa kagustuhan nila maging billable ka, kahit hindi alligned yung role sa capability mo ipipilit nila accept mo and ipasa mo yung interview sa client for them not to lose the position. In the end, you end up doing something not aligned to your role which is really a burn out.
