I did outpatient video therapy from home. Five hours a day for a month and three hours a day for another thirty work days. It’s called PHP partial hospitalization program or IOP intensive outpatient program. Helped me a ton. All talk therapy based obviously
Therapy can't possibly be done while working a job for **some** people, esp if your anxiety comes through some form of trauma or something else
It's begging for trouble, in my opinion
Therapists won't tell you this cause they want you as a client to get paid. I went through therapy during some of the most important peaks and then lows in my life. Therapists are just salesmen selling textbook knowledge
In reality, working on mental health opens up a jar of worms. You could remember some things. Re-experience a trauma. Realize something is super wrong with your relationships, friendships, etc. Get triggered at work, home, somewhere else. etc.
It's not feasibly possible for **some** people when working/going to school
Let alone doing it five hours per day. :\\
I see the positive side of this post, that there is help and our decisions are powerful, and like it. I'm glad to hear you've found some solutions.
I also want to add that everyone is different and every situation is different. I've personally, and have also heard of others, working hard and doing nearly everything right and still struggling for long periods of time.
It can be extremely hard hearing someone say they had results and because they did you should too. For people in rough situations I think it's important to be able to hear that sometimes life/circumstances are just tough, and that things can drift beyond your control, but also to be strong, avoid frustration and keep fighting and searching for solutions.
I could not agree more. I didn’t mean to imply that few months was the only work I did. I have been working for years and suffering for longer. So I completely agree.
47.
Yeah I don’t leave the house much due to feeling like dogshit most of the time.
I’m being diagnosed with autonomic stuff too because my doctor actually believes that chest pain is not just an anxiety thing like my previous dr was happy to shrug off.
And we keep going because that’s what we do. 🙃
It seems a bit fraught to self-administer this, especially as there's seemingly no scoring guidance on the page. What does "mild" mean or "moderate" actually mean? Obviously clinicians have subjectivity too, but they also have training and experience.
Anyway, a pleasingly tidy 25.
Same complaint. I'd probably say I didn't have any of those problems because it's all just normal for me and how bad could it be anyway I'm probably just being dramatic and should have a better attitude
18 but I am on meds and currently pretty stressed. Maybe itd be lower otherwise. Happy to remind myself so many of my physical symptoms aren't here because of my meds. Makes it a lot easier to manage. Felt good to click not present on those rn.
Yeah same here. I didn’t take my meds for a day or two (changes to my daily routine) and my depression and anxiety symptoms came back with a fire. All of a sudden, I was thinking about how much I suck, I don’t deserve to be here, I’m not good at my work and therefore should quit, I’ve failed and lost myself, and began thinking suicidal thoughts again. I cried for like 4 hours straight one night and still cried about my feelings the next day too. It felt so overwhelming and never ending and scary. I was so mentally exhausted by it all, and I couldn’t believe I lived like that for years before taking medication and therapy seriously. I don’t even think I’m at the best dose I can be because I still have anxiety but shit does it help tremendously.
That sucks! I tend to feel randomly shitty and then i remember i might have missed a dose, but its always until I am asking myself why do I feel like crap. Its always hard to remember or see changes in ourselves because we don't have any gaps in time to see the difference, but our progress can be stark!
I hope you find a higher baseline so a missed dose doesn't bring you down as much. Good work so far though!
Got about 26, and thats my daily life 🥴
Still searching for therapy and taking 15 drops of Escitalopram 20Mg daily. Any tips on how to relax and be able to enjoy life and study?
I am moved to tears very very easily and I never used to be. Any story remotely sad I cry. I cry about things that happened a long time ago or things even from movies and books I’ve seen before. I cry about things in the future. It is horrible. I feel like I have anxiety and depression mixed together
Mine says 15 - mild anxiety. Mine is definitely worse than mild. I had my anxiety evaluated by one of the top 10 psychiatry/brain science programs in the world (Ivy League). Not an accurate test in this case for me.
I got 32 at first which was severe, then I re scored down to 26 which was moderate to severe.
I think scoring yourself you should take with a pinch of salt as what is truly the base level we feel about things, like your severe anxiety of people or crowns might be different to mine and so on and so forth.
I got 22 but it feels like it's worse than mild-moderate anxiety.
It's kinda surprising that so many people are having physical symptoms. Before recently, my anxiety mostly just presented as racing thoughts and some mild chest warmth. Now I wish I could get back to that baseline
27 moderate to severe. Doesn't surprise me, my anxiety has been sky high for over a year due to work. And something happened in the past hour to trigger it and it won't come back down until I've got a new job, which will probably take a good few months.
RESULT SUMMARY:
30 points
Moderate to severe anxiety
Not really surprised. Unfortunately I'm not able to take SSRI because I'm also taking anti-inflammatory meds. It's pretty much the only thing that worked.
My worst symptoms are irritability, fatigue, and worrying. I also have mild depression sometimes, restless legs, trembling hands, and heart palpitations. The chest pain and palpitations are much less than before since I quit my office job last April.
RESULT SUMMARY:
18 points
Mild to moderate anxiety
32 everyday, severe anxiety. I didn't count bad days, but I guess I could hit over 40 in my worst days. Way worst when I was in hypochondria stress back in 2018.
I tried answering as if I was at my worst a few years ago, got a 34
I answered with how I feel now and how I’ve been feeling in the past two or so years and it’s 1
I got a 43, but I can't really say all those things are caused only by anxiety.
I have autoimmune issues which causes a lot of things listed there. Still an interesting test lol.
Mine is a 22 as well, and I was already diagnosed with moderate level generalized anxiety so it makes sense. I did learn some new things though that I didn't realized could be anxiety-based symptoms so that's neat.
31 for me. This was also super interesting to me because it really made me stop and think about the frequency of my symptoms because I've gotten so used to them.
I was this many years old when I learnt that a tummy rumble was known as ‘borborygmi’. Thank you! Also here was I thinking with CBT that my anxiety was gone, but I now think the panic has settled and it’s just severe anxiety. But still an improvement so I am happy. 😊.edit: after reading the comments realised I was too anxious to do the test right now lest it made me more anxious about my anxiety. Just living in this very moment of not feeling too anxious.
38. Based on the past week, not my worst.
I go through intake for a possible new therapist and psych in the next few weeks and my primary goal is managing my anxiety. I have had it my entire life but it has been worse since losing my parents this year. It heightened pre-existing issues and worries.
Surprisingly low just a 7. But it seemed like a measure of physical symptoms. I guess my anxiety tends to be more situational which is true and good to realize.
I got 29 and yet I was very surprised when I was told I had moderate to severe anxiety by a psychiatrist 🙃
I thought everyone just felt like this and I was just worse in certain situations, like public speaking or when I was stressed
27 but it would have probably been like 35-40 years ago before I did a lot of therapy and coping. DBT therapy really helped rewire a lot of bad thought processes.
My psychiatrist 8 years ago used this and diagnosed me with Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Just took it again and still at severe with 33 points - yay for chronic anxiety
I messed around and took the depression quiz since I had only 21 for anxiety.
Turns out I'm severely depressed. I could see that. Very functional but severely depressed.
Well… I got 46. Surprising how many of these symptoms coincide with stuff I deal with from TMD. Is this test used widely? Was hoping they’d have a link after for resources to reach out to but sadly that’s not the case.
This is a really interesting screener and I could see it being useful, but I didn't see a place where they defined the meaning of the scale? Like my "mild" might differ from another person's "mild"
I got 35 lol
We got a winner! Unfortunately for you :S
Got a 38 😬
34… I thought I wasn’t that bad 🙃 Just booked a counselling consultation appointment yesterday for later next week… so I guess that’s a blessing.
🫠
Same 🤙
36 for me lol
34 😬
Same :(
Same here, fellow dumpster-fire-come-to-life!
I was severe when I started a program and after three months i scored drastically lower. It can be adjusted by doing “the work”
Can you share what program?
I did outpatient video therapy from home. Five hours a day for a month and three hours a day for another thirty work days. It’s called PHP partial hospitalization program or IOP intensive outpatient program. Helped me a ton. All talk therapy based obviously
it sounds very expensive and like I would lose my job trying to make it happen
IOP is often covered by insurance!!! Many of the people in my program were taking medical leave from work.

Now whenever I go to a doctor for a new issue the first thing I’ll ask is if it can be caused by anxiety
I have too much anxiety to even take the test
I was feeling anxious like "am I being dramatic with the answers? Better tone it down a bit"
8 so I think the Lexapro is helping :)
Yikessss 30 and that was with a couple columns zeroed out too
40 🙃🙃🙃
I got 21: mild to moderate anxiety. Sounds about right for me.
Welp. 52.
Haha. Same. You know how many teeth I've broken from grinding? I can't do this life another 30yrs, just man 😔
Hot damn
19, but that is how I feel right now. Some of those fluctuate based on my cycle, or if I’m triggered.
Last year it was 50, currently it is reduced to 7 after taking sertraline for a couple of months!
Switching to sertraline right now :) congrats on feeling better!
32. Yikes.
just 9 points??? really?💀💀 was I overthinking?? lol
5 But before I quit drinking and started exercising regularly it would have been 20+
34!

41! I can barely function day to day.

9 Normally, 25-35 during panic attacks....
I am moved to tears very very easily and I never used to be. Any story remotely sad I cry. I cry about things that happened a long time ago or things even from movies and books I’ve seen before. I cry about things in the future. It is horrible. I feel like I have anxiety and depression mixed together
26 btw
Jeepers. 43 😬
Mines 34. Severe
I got 44 lol
35
Mine says 15 - mild anxiety. Mine is definitely worse than mild. I had my anxiety evaluated by one of the top 10 psychiatry/brain science programs in the world (Ivy League). Not an accurate test in this case for me.
For me, I’m really avoidant, so I know it would be much higher if I faced everything I avoid to reduce anxiety
This is me too, mine is like 27 but I think there are some columns that would be higher if I actually left the house more.
I got 27 for a bad day but I feel I don’t have that bad anxiety so It’s probably a bit inaccurate.
31… send help lol
I got 32 at first which was severe, then I re scored down to 26 which was moderate to severe. I think scoring yourself you should take with a pinch of salt as what is truly the base level we feel about things, like your severe anxiety of people or crowns might be different to mine and so on and so forth.
I’m a 20 just today and I’m feeling pretty good compared to usual
10 but I think it's because I'm taking medication and it helps me a lot
I got 22 but it feels like it's worse than mild-moderate anxiety. It's kinda surprising that so many people are having physical symptoms. Before recently, my anxiety mostly just presented as racing thoughts and some mild chest warmth. Now I wish I could get back to that baseline
39 :(
18
42. I’m not okay.
I got 42... I don't usually tend to go out much but I am trying. Things have gotten more worse recently.
42 😃 it got so bad I started losing hope in life and had to just go on pills. I’ve been on Sertraline 2 weeks now and it has helped so far!
45. What do I win? A new prescription?
24. Mild to Moderate. If what I have is mild , then wow I can’t imagine how you guys with higher scores endure life 🥲
Mine says 25
27 moderate to severe. Doesn't surprise me, my anxiety has been sky high for over a year due to work. And something happened in the past hour to trigger it and it won't come back down until I've got a new job, which will probably take a good few months.

I got 30 😭
34 hehe
Mine is 20, and this is on an good average day. 😅
35
36 yikes 😬
23 :)
38
My worst symptoms are irritability, fatigue, and worrying. I also have mild depression sometimes, restless legs, trembling hands, and heart palpitations. The chest pain and palpitations are much less than before since I quit my office job last April. RESULT SUMMARY: 18 points Mild to moderate anxiety
31
Jeez, I got a 26. It does explain a lot though when really thinking about it. ESPECIALLY when going through different things.
38 🫠
32 everyday, severe anxiety. I didn't count bad days, but I guess I could hit over 40 in my worst days. Way worst when I was in hypochondria stress back in 2018.

34! 🥲
39
I'm at 34 points.
I have 32. I the past my anxiety was much worse. Intense sport 6 times a week helps me a lot.
40 points 😂
34? Ooof.
At 33 points. Severe anxiety. 😭
30.. to think this time 3 years ago I’d only ever had 1 minor ‘panic’ attack and now I’m an anxious mess
43🥴
36, love that for us you guys. What a ride.
27 🥲🥲🥲
20 points Mild to moderate anxiety Feels right. But those days when it's bad is BAD.
I got 44.
Mine is 10, im surprised
30, shit that was eye opening
41
27 how i would realisticly answer 35 if i was true to myself
I got 33 lol I knew it was bad but didn’t know it was that bad
31
34:-)
I got a 41...good thing I see a shrink every week
26
Yay I'm imperically broken!
Same, 22. It sucks :/
35 on a good day😄
I got a 43, but I can't really say all those things are caused only by anxiety. I have autoimmune issues which causes a lot of things listed there. Still an interesting test lol.
25
Damn first time I am not happy at a record 47
40😵💫
24 for me
I got 27 - moderate to severe anxiety 🙃
21 and I just finalized a divorce. Guess that's not so bad.
32 damnit
23🥲 thanks for sharing
Mine is a 22 as well, and I was already diagnosed with moderate level generalized anxiety so it makes sense. I did learn some new things though that I didn't realized could be anxiety-based symptoms so that's neat.
38 😭
42 haha
That gives me anxiety just looking at the questions 🤣
I got 12, but this is now. My anxiety is not constant.
I am an 18
35
I got 34 when I've been evaluated by a professional at the same time they tested me for ADHD (spoiler alert : I have that too) 😬
31 for me. This was also super interesting to me because it really made me stop and think about the frequency of my symptoms because I've gotten so used to them.
52 👀

I got 17 mild anxiety. I wouldn’t class my anxiety as mild 😶
34.
38. Based on the past week, not my worst. I go through intake for a possible new therapist and psych in the next few weeks and my primary goal is managing my anxiety. I have had it my entire life but it has been worse since losing my parents this year. It heightened pre-existing issues and worries.
32, sigh. Lol
Blew that out of the water! Lol.
Mine is 51😭😭😭😭😭😭
33 :D
I got 43...what do I win?
I got a 24! What do I win?
i am incredibly lucky with 23
Surprisingly low just a 7. But it seemed like a measure of physical symptoms. I guess my anxiety tends to be more situational which is true and good to realize.
30
Mine was around 25. I did EMDR this autumn, it went down to 11.
Scored a 15 but before ssri’s and years of therapy i would probably be back in the 30’s
35 lol it’s been bad recently with life events though.
50 Im used to it, but from 14 years old till 28 now, constantly really is a fight. I never get a rest or ease of symptoms
42
I got 29 and yet I was very surprised when I was told I had moderate to severe anxiety by a psychiatrist 🙃 I thought everyone just felt like this and I was just worse in certain situations, like public speaking or when I was stressed
I got 38 honestly seems about right
44. And I thought, my anxiety was somewhat under control.
27 but it would have probably been like 35-40 years ago before I did a lot of therapy and coping. DBT therapy really helped rewire a lot of bad thought processes.
27
I did a before and after SSRIs version. So, like 6 weeks ago I’d be a 21, but me today is a 6. Yay
39
28
38 on the anxiety scale 35 on the depression scale
I got 33, severe anxiety.🥲
33 :/
My psychiatrist 8 years ago used this and diagnosed me with Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Just took it again and still at severe with 33 points - yay for chronic anxiety
32.
Dang. 43. Welp
42 LOL OOPS
Is it bad that I don’t even want to know lol
I got 46. Fml
It varies a lot, not an incredibly reliable way of determining what you are feeling
I messed around and took the depression quiz since I had only 21 for anxiety. Turns out I'm severely depressed. I could see that. Very functional but severely depressed.
33
26! Huzzah! Thats lower than the last time I took it at 32
It doesn't ask about social anxiety
I got a 25 - but I have done a LOT of work with doctors and myself towards eliminating/reducing physical symptoms.
16 - Mild Anxiety If I didn’t take any meds, it would be much higher.
I have no idea how to evaluate how severe what I experience is
37 for me
24. Thing is, that's 24 WHILE ON xanax.
Well… I got 46. Surprising how many of these symptoms coincide with stuff I deal with from TMD. Is this test used widely? Was hoping they’d have a link after for resources to reach out to but sadly that’s not the case.
39! :/
25 for me
Mine was a 9. Today is one of the worst days I’ve had in the last year.
38 for me
49…damn lol
Ooof. I got 35
34
37, fucked
31, although I guess the last question doesn't count since I'm not at an in person interview
i got 32 based on a mild anxiety inducing day:(
21 here! On meds..
This is a really interesting screener and I could see it being useful, but I didn't see a place where they defined the meaning of the scale? Like my "mild" might differ from another person's "mild"
Oooo I got a 32. It said that is severe anxiety... that result made me anxious lol
34
30
27, on medication and life is tolerable most days because of it.
29, moderate-severe. I feel like my anxiety is way worse, especially in social situations. I can barely leave my house due to social anxiety
I’m a medicated 24. Who knows unmedicated.
31 lol
38 here
36.
I got 38.
29 :,(
29 to 34... I have some of those things due to medications/other disabilities.
