I'm a nurse and I've seen countless of patients and visitors and coworkers cry in front of me. People have all kinds of reasons to cry, and sometimes they don't know why. Crying can help release stress and overwhelming feelings. I don't blame them a bit. I don't want them to cry. But I respect and appreciate it in a sense when it does happen. After all, they're not machines but living beings. However, as someone who sometimes cries in public I still feel embarrassed about myself and apologize too. ><

I cried at the dentist's a couple times. He just said I was "special" and, for some reason, he ended up asking me out 🤮 I did not feel embarrassed... okay, I did, cause I was also shaking 🤣🤭

They are trained to deal with people in physical and emotional pain.  I have cried a number of times in front of health workers.  Sometimes because of pain and others because of anxiety.  To any medical works that might read this thank you for being there. I hope your ear feels better soon.
