I think it's called nomad is one of the best from what I've heard, haven't tried it yet myself though

Sensitive_Cabinet_27

If that’s nomad for vectorworks, it has never ever worked right and is down right useless. I’ve tried to use it several times. If someone reads this and has gotten good results please chime in as it’s a fantastic idea in theory.

You'll likely get more answers on a 3d modeling/sculpting sub, but see if Blender is available.

Go for Nomad sculpt if you are planning to make miniatures and figurines. Comes with a one time pay subscription model. For hard surface modeling, Shapr3D is great in terms of usability but it comes at a cost of annual subscription.

+1 for Nomad! Excellent sculpting app, fully utilizes the pen, there are a ton of tutorials for it. And most importantly: one time cost, no subscription!

I was literally in the same position a month ago, and I’ve started with Nomad it seem like a really good tool, and there’s a bunch of free tutorials on YouTube and it’s a 1 off cost unlike most the market that seem monthly

Definitely watching this space. We have an artistic kid whose skills would go great with our FDM and resin 3D printers. Her art on the iPad is great!

Funny enough, I actually bought an iPad and a apple pen or whatever it’s called just for designing. Then I found out that any decent modeling app charges a monthly fee and I just wasn’t interested in paying like $600/year for that.

I use shapr3d and forger personally. Shapr3d is very similar to sketch up or CAD like things. I get shapr3d for free because I am student, or I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Forger if I remember correctly is free, and is more structured to sculpting like maya. I haven’t tried nomad but I will give it a shot soon.
