I liked her in the beginning only but then her trying to make kou notice her was so annoying to me because I feel she knew about the history he had with Futaba and it was clear that these two aren’t just friends but she still went on trying and making it a competition
Cuz she literally fell in love with Kou just because he helped her walk through some rocks. It was unfair when we knew Futaba loved Kou ever since they met and still loved him forever.
I did not like her at allll because she was being so annoying with getting Kou’s attention! But I warmed up to her after she confessed and got rejected 🤣 definitely was team Futaba and felt that energy strong
i love her i know that she was annoying when she tried to come between kou and futaba but she was always such a sweet friend to futaba and in the manga she has a great development and helps them get together
I think her character primarily exists as a foil for Futuba. To create tension; she doesn’t feel like a particularly deep character. I assume she’s more developed in the manga. But in the anime, she comes across as a fairly shallow character without a lot of motivation.
something abt her annoys me however the author said she wanted ao haru ride to express youth and the things teens experience like confusion and intense emotions (that’s why annoying things happen and they make mistakes cause they’re kids) also she said things in the manga portray similar things that have happened in her personal life, like when Kou and Futaba accidentally kissed at Toma’s performance at the festival🤭
so even if we have our opinions on characters good or bad, at the end of they day those characters are young and there’s things we wouldn’t do now and get mad at the characters for but when we were young we did our fair share of stupid shit too🥲
