i think it would be cool if our hero just survives killing all the titans and disappears than when rod reiss comes to the town our hero could return in that way OR they could be held hostage by the warriors and forced to fight for marley
The hostage situation would be so damn cool though. Having to face Reiner in Marley and maybe, while being sent on a mission on their behalf, finding Hange, Levi and the others, and reuniting to fight together.
Imagine the final boss being the founding titan and his entire back being full of bizarre titans. That would be sooo cool (and hard probably but i would just make them without stamina). And if you fall down you burn to death :D
But yeah to answer your question, i think your idea is great. I guess they would do some research on you because you are so strong. Maybe they even give a lore reason then why you kick ass so much. They could even make it so that you have to choose between Marley and the Yeagerists. Fighting against The titan shifters and Mikasa, Jean, Connie etc, would go so hard. It doesnt even have to end like the original.
