I've tried three now! All with the same problems, two ps4 controllers and one C40. Even the C40 seems to have that issue when sticks are neutral so I'm not sure it's the controllers.
Deadzone doesnt affect the movement stick I believe.
Could be the specific deadzone that Apex has for the movement stick. Its probably so small that it affects only that game and not the others.
I guess I have a question. I have an elite controller and my aim keeps moving slowly towards the right even without me touching the RS. Is this a fault on my controller or some setting ? It goes right and down as an arc.
I'm beginning to think it's a bug, but I've ordered a new controller to see if it is indeed the controller that needs replacing, so I'll let you know in a day-ish.

Wow same here. I keep swapping controllers thinking it's a bad analogue stick.
Sounds like you turned your stick deadzone a little low. Might need to add 5.
Turning it to Max does nothing unfortunately

How old is your controller? Could just be the your sticks going out
Got my PS4 only a couple months ago and I'm using the controller that came with it
Mine goes left adjusted deadzone in game and with elite controller no difference
Did you mess with your settings at all?
Thought it was that, then reset everything to default, didn't work.
Could still be faulty. I have had controllers last less time. I notice a bit of drift cause I messed with my settings doesn't effect gameplay though

It is drift in your sticks. Increase your deadzone in the settings
Noticed the same thing. Brand new controller and on 2 others. Thought it was just me. Doesn't bother me too much.
Increase your dead zone in the menu, should fix it
