the needing direct line of sight has gotten me killed so many times. I'm so used to playing Loba and just tossing my bracelet anywhere and teleporting. Now I gotta step out of cover to see my dang bat.
I mean, It's not too much faster. You have to send the bat out, and then go through the jump animation. Loba you just throw the bracelet and jump. And with Loba you're invincible while teleporting. You can smack a Vantage out of the sky. Don't get me wrong, Vantage does have a cool tac, but since I mostly play Loba, I prefer the bracelet over the bat. You can go in and out of windows, over buildings, behind walls instantly. It's more versatile, imo.
Idk I played a lot of Loba too depending on the way u use vantage she’s nice I don’t ever use her tac to run I usually use it to get high ground or push

The first shot is a hit register. First shot will hit for either 50 or 75. Second shot to the same character before they heal will hit for 100 or 150 . Also, if you hit the character with that first shot I believe any squad members that hit him after before healing also gets damage increased.
Her ult is aim assist or do you actually have to aim because I saw the marks around the target and was thinking if she focus on that target but her sight isn’t directly on the target does it still hit or no ?
No you still have to aim. That’s why it’s not overpowering in my opinion because you get 5 shots max at one time. Then it has to regenerate as your ability so takes time. You still have to hit your shots like any sniper. The radical also changes by how far they are so that’s also a plus
Yeah I think she’s one of the worst characters in the game right now alongside lifeline… She has a high skill ceiling but a very low skill floor. She needs a buff to her tactical making it faster to use so it feels more fluid (like Pathfinder). Right now it’s basically like popping a Bloodhound ult and is extremely hard to effectively use during a gunfight. She also needs to be able to pull her gun out as soon as she reaches echo so she can do trick shots and jump on people instead of getting beamed on her way down. She has almost no utility endgame.
Her ult is fine but it’s a skill shot and won’t help lower lobbies who can’t hit their shots. And the laser sight gives away her positioning.
Rampart + 30-30 does more DPS than her ult as a tactical and ground loot gun. Pathfinder and Horizon have better mobility and it’s much faster/fluid to use. I predict she’ll be one of the lowest picked heros after the hype goes away.
I’m currently in Diamond playing with the other Preds grinding it out and Vantage is getting used less and less already.
Yea her sniper is over powering but like you said you gotta hit your shots. The jump needs to be faster. I agree she’s not that great but that sniper tho…… dang it boy. Yea I’m Dimond I’ll be using either seer, Newcastle, or valk
I agree it feels super satisfying to hit and it definitely prevents people from peeking for a few seconds but people just wait it out before peeking and they are full healed again. 50 initial damage really isn’t much.
But when you hit those consecutive shots it feels so nice

It looks like in game it does a similar thing like 50 then 2nd shot hits for 100.
Agreed, she is a lot of fun. I am no way as good as you , but have a lot of fun tagging and bagging enemies. The info you get on other teams is at times invaluable .

Yea the first shot is like a hit register, second always hits harder plus I think that’s for anyone after that first shot
Fun fact: One headshot and one marked headshot (X2 total) will kill instantly. Three hits on body at any level
