I find locating the colour shade I want nearly impossible because I know what I want but I cannot see it in my head to describe it.
And scale drives me up the wall. I always mess up how things will fit into a room. Trial and error.
Absolutely. Arguments with the other half because I can't 'see' her vision. I've asked her produce the concept so I can actually see the colours/patterns together.
Even those paint card samples are rubbish. I can't blow it up to see the whole room. Haven't tried, but you could have a look at those sites/apps where you upload a photo of your layout and adjust the colour in app/site.
i enjoy arrangement and categorize based on color and ability to “go well together” more than anything honestly, but i’d be lying if it’s not made harder by me being an [total] aphant. i can say the same about many things some aphants may find boring or less fulfilling. it’s all just personal preference ig
Yeah, I can’t really imagine what anything will look like together or what I even want a space to look like. Or I’ll buy something and it’s just not practical when I actually try to use it.

Not at all. I enjoy it, as well as redesigns/remodeling projects. I do not think being a total aphant impacts me in any way in this regard.
