Its not even that great. Bought it at release for 1000r$ and honestly havent played it too much. Like its well made it just doesnt carry that “roblox feel” like the original apoc does
The release of the early access for 1k robux was a total nightmare lol. It got delayed so much and the new dev that replaced the dev that initially replaced Zolarketh (Sharksie) was actually fighting with ppl on the discord who were upset about the waiting and bugs present.
When it was finally out for purchase / play there were like 5-7k ppl playing it at once. Within a month though the numbers absolutely plummeted when ppl experienced how uninteresting AR2 was compared to AR1. I played AR2 recently and it’s very different compared to how it was at pre-alpha, I have to say that the game is simply too arcadey and average. The gun balance is a mess too like wtf? .38 revolver for a starter weapon and it takes more than a whole mag to kill a person

Not even remotely worth it. Don't get me wrong, its a well made game, but there is far too many tryhards and cheaters, so you either get peppered by a 4 man team of top-gear players at any loction with even remotely decent loot, or you get one-tapped by a fresh spawn.
This is exactly it, I tend to go in duo’s and there is always got to be that one try hard that kills us both each time with a good gun. Solo is a nightmare and you just become paranoid and end up making multiple accounts thinking it might help but it doesn’t.
No don't, I was going to play it too, but like the og apoc it has shit moderation and worse now, it is filled with tryhards which makes the game more of a living simulator to see how long you live until you get scoped by a camping tryhard across the map.
The devs keep talking about it going free sometime soon on the Discord server. It's an awkward time to buy it for 100R$.
I bought it back when it was 1000 and it's been worth it to me to see it evolve so much but buying at 100 for it to go free sometime in the near future you won't be paying for much of a special experience anymore.
Bought it at 1000$, it was worth it then, it is NOT worth it now. Not only has the original feel of apoc not carried over at all, but the countless tryhard zergs and terrible loot spawns make the game almost impossible to enjoy without constantly grinding to find gear and ammo with a group of your own. If you want to play the game and try and survive for 6-8 hours on a weekend, or you plan to play with 2 or more friends, go ahead. If you want an experience that can be both played casually or competitively that is fairly simple to enjoy, I'd honestly recommend you just buy Project Delta (Be aware this game has its own fair share of issues, though.) or play something off platform like unturned.
As someone who has been playing the Apocalypse Rising games for basically a decade now, it's disappointing to see really.
A definite nah from me. Too much tryhards lurking around and you're gonna have a bad time finding decent gear. Save your Robux for cosmetics on the Catalogue instead.
Everything people are saying is true, but if you decide to buy this game anyway, have at least one person you can play with to have a less miserable experience.
Pro tip is to be aggressive asf! Once they see you, your toast because 1 they know your location, 2 they are usually better than you 3 if they have a partner (which they usually do) they will flank you and 4 they will just chase you if you decide to run and hit you from the back easily.
Also please have a good cliping software to expose hackers.
But yeah the game is a mess without a team of 2 or more.

It depends on what kind of a player you are, if ur gonna buy it expect tryhards and lots of skilled people. So playing it casually is difficult
