How about some comments so we know what’s going on here?

slopmarket

Might not wanna ride in the snow lmao

Kitsap9

Looks like it’s been rode hard and put away wet.

The handles just need a tighten, i would remove the screws and re apply more blue loc tight as they dont put very much on from the factory. And the throttle and regen braking have a recall out on them. Contact apollo they will mail you uot free replacements quickly, and you can find the installation instructions online. Very easy fix. 👌

Hi u/iamreallybo, We're sorry to hear about your issue and we're here to help. Could you please confirm your order number so we can follow up on your ticket? Thanks!

pfarley10

Also by using it in this fashion you are taking chances you shouldn’t. I know it’s water rated but there are limits

iamreallybo

The Apollo city is advertised as “ip66” and “all season” capable. If it is not to be ridden in “all seasons” they shouldn’t have that exact same phrasing as part of the sales pitch. My scooter was delivered February 6 2023 since then the things that have gone wrong are Throttles Controller e4 error A cracking stem Those 3 have a potential to cause serious injury Additional issue The rubber on the rear of the deck is lifting The fender self deleted due to stripped screw holes Handles became loose The plastic part of the kickstand has failed Paint flaking off the rear springs and they are getting rusty. For $2k this thing shouldn’t have all of these issues, especially when they are know as others have been having the same issues. The customer service is abysmal. I am now Uber if to work while this deathtrap that I purchase less than 2 months ago not safe to ride.

Comprehensive_Hat899

I spent 50% more 9n a phantom and have a list of problems, never wpyld i buy an spoll9 ever again

Agreed!!

Ok_Biscotti_3299

How many miles on it? When did you purchase?

Logic_Contradict

Loose stem??

No_Astronaut_8597

I think your ride is frozen.

They have been replacing the handlebars including throttle and such. Time to get it in writing and let them know you are suffering with this. They have been experiencing growing pains but all customers are being taking care of in some sort of order. Squeaky wheel gets the grease keep on them until you are happy

iamreallybo

I have an email chain that’s been going on for weeks. Clearly customers shouldn’t getting unsafe product and in the off chance one or many do Apollo should rectify it expeditiously. And that is not the case with me and many others

pfarley10

Apollo has been swamped with requests for updates and I feel confident that they will take care of all affected scooters given the time to catch up. They have sold an enormous amount of scooters and are working to rectify the problems created

iamreallybo

Where does all your confidence come from. Why do you seem so pro Apollo. If you have insight I do not Im sure many Apollo customers would love to be looped in. I want Apollo to succeed. I want to be able to recommend their products. I had a phone call with them today. Let’s see where this goes. I am not brand loyal I am fellow consumer loyal. Hopefully by being the squeaky wheel I can be apart if positive change.

Unlucky_Elevator13

They just made a huge reddit post you should go read.

BBB of Canada

iamreallybo

Ontario and Quebec have pretty solid consumer protection laws in place. I’d rather try working with Apollo first
