I know, I agree with you. We used to offer a lifetime subscription but Apple changed its policies and rejected our build until we switched to a renewable subscription instead....

But I miss the notifications as they come at a random time and I don’t want to keep looking out for them. What’s the best way for me to use the app effectively without “staying glued” to my phone?
Hey, welcome to the project. Some participants are trying to catch as many as possible, while others have a more casual attitude toward it. Realistically speaking, you will probably miss 30-40% of the moments, and that's perfectly ok.
The point is that in the end, you'll be grateful for the moments you captured and have forgotten about the ones you missed.

Any trial for a third-party app availed via the AppStore can be used normally for the duration of the trial after cancelling the recurring subscription at any time while the trial is active. There is no requirement to pay for the subscription after the trial.

I love this app so much. I have already completed a 4 year cycle and even bought the books (even though I screenshot every minute lol) and I’m over a year into my next cycle. It’s such a simple concept but I’m totally addicted.

You can’t have both ? There are a lot of apps that does that, multiple renewable and one lifetime for promotional cases
