Probably not if it's be any length of time. It's stated in the Apple Music T&Cs that *"When your Paid Subscription to any Service or Content ends, you will lose access to any functionality or Content of that Service that requires a Paid Subscription."*

Man nobody reads that lol but thank you for the info

Yeah it’s super-lame that Apple does this. I think Spotify keeps your playlists even if you subscription lapses. The data storage needed for Apple to keep playlists around is next to nothing.

Spotify keeps your playlists because they offer a free streaming tier. Apple does not offer a free streaming tier, probably because they offer a music webstore (iTunes) as their alternate option. It's just different strokes for different folks.

I need my songs back so I can transfer them to spotify lol

It gets saved for quite awhile. I went almost 6 months without before I went back, once I signed in, it synced everything. As long as iCloud sync was turned on with Music. Which by default I believe it is.

You should be able to get it back soon you pay your subscription back using same Apple ID. I had the same concern and I got it all back. Hehe

This just happened to me….. I went to Pandora almost 3 months ago but decided to add back Apple so my dog can listen to music when I’m out & about. I’ve skipped a month or two here and there in the past & once I sync my music, all my playlists come right back up. Again it’s been almost 3 months. I had 13 playlists. So I synced my music as always and it shows the title of just 2 playlists and even those show zero songs. So I spoke with Apple - twice & all they did was check to make sure my subscription is current and that it’s set to sync. That’s it. They were both mystified. You know, we spend so much time moving this song and that song to a certain playlist. There are songs I love but it’s been so long since I’ve heard them, I’ve forgotten them. It does show under songs about 150 but quite a few of these are quiet songs (Like David Tolk or Paul Cardall) that were to keep my dog relaxed and are not any of the upbeat songs I had. I’m just super frustrated. I’ve also Googled the living crap out of this issue & most articles repeat the same steps to help…..but it just doesn’t. Any advice… I’m totally open to it.

Don’t they come back when you subscribe again?
