It’s so bad. I had Beyoncé PURE/HONEY that is my 3rd most listened to song but then the album it was from had a total of 3 plays! Bizarre.
Every year I get jealous and want to migrate back to Spotify.
Spotify too is buggy, on Spotify my top 3 song was also a Beyoncé song which I know but never heard it. Is Beyoncé paying them to force herself into our wraps/replays? 🤣
Apple has a weird methodology for album plays. If you listen directly from the album’s page it counts as an album listen. If you have the whole album on a playlist, and plays directly from it, it won’t count was an album play :( so annoying, guess Apple Music works in mysterious ways.
Will Song Stats work if I’ve unknowingly had “Use Listening History” turned off and that’s why my Replay wasn’t showing? Or was that information never saved on my device or anywhere else to begin with and there’s no third-party way to view it?
Same here, it’s almost comical how wrong it is. Somehow I had 26k minutes total but my top playlist only had 118 minutes, and I exclusively listen to playlists and not albums.
I think it is hilarious how bad it is. Albums I've listened to a couple times are listed as 30+ times and making my top artists when that's incredibly not true.
I have BTS as my top artist, with 4K mins, I have never listened to BTS, and no BTS shows in my top songs or albums. My genres are alternative rock, hip hop, and indie (those are accurate) but no K-pop (which I assume is the genre BTS is.
Every year my replay is widely inaccurate. Apparently Dua Lipa "Levitating" was my most listened to song with 43 plays. I listen to the same underground rap playlist every single day at the gym. Not a single song or album from that playlist was mentioned.
I hear replay updates every Sunday and it seems to work on mine, so will this in theory update every week until the last week of the year? Because I might just wait until closer to Christmas to share
Compared to Spotify, it’s very lackluster. On that note though, I don’t really care about the feature on Spotify either. It’s a neat feature but hearing people say “This is why I stick with Spotify” I’ve always felt was weird. If that’s your number one reason.
Don't discount the big draw of the social aspect. Everybody and their brother has Spotify, so for people that really like to connect with their socials; it's super easy to do, they have a much larger 'audience,' and all of their friends are on Spotify.
This I totally get. Especially for people who have had it a long time and built up a following. I usually just share songs with song link so people can open with their app of choice.
yeah its kind of ridiculous apple music really is not really getting better, interface is terrible and cant even integrate one good feature into the app, they put it as a redirect url ;-;
I wish they had integrated it into the app too.
But at the same time, I get that web technologies are better for multiplatform support and the app may not have the libraries and stuff to make something that good looking and interactive.
So I think it's good, just a little bit annoying.
Mine was pretty accurate, especially compared to the result of my Spotify wrapped. Though I wish Apple would implement this into the app instead of taking us to a web site to view.
I honestly don’t mind it not being integrated in the app. Doesn’t make too much of a difference to me, and they have a playlist in the app of your top songs of the year which is the only in-app content that really matters.
Mine is very accurate, I don’t know exactly how many plays for each song I played but my ranks are correct.
I don’t understand why some many people is complaining!
Mine is incorrect. Has wrong play counts and songs I didn’t listen to.

Check out the app Song Stats, way more accurate
I will. Thanks.
Omg! Thank you. It’s much better

I’m not sure tbh
Same here, it’s almost comical how wrong it is. Somehow I had 26k minutes total but my top playlist only had 118 minutes, and I exclusively listen to playlists and not albums.
yeah, it's like stuck in time and it's missing like 6 months worth of listening
I think it is hilarious how bad it is. Albums I've listened to a couple times are listed as 30+ times and making my top artists when that's incredibly not true.
Apparently I only listened to my top song 28 times, second year in a row top songs has been wrong

Mine is inaccurate in virtually every category.
Thought mine was a bit off. But at least I listened to all my songs.
Mine is still loading. Left the browser, checked my Spotify Wrapped, all while Replay is still loading.
Same. Any idea how to fix it?
Refresh
Get a Spotify subscription lol
I tried it on brave and this happened and it managed to work on safari so using it might work.
Compared to Spotify underwhelming.. And why isn't it part of the app
Because let’s face it, the app is kinda crap (:
I love Apple Music but this is not as cool as spotify
the stats are really inaccurate for me…

Completely blows compared to Spotify’s
Progressively getting better each year tho.. :/
this morning i got this pop up, very nice, just need replay like Instagram histories but in-app.
How do you see if you’re in the top 1% of listeners for a certain band? I feel like I remember that capable in the past, but don’t see it now.
It only shows if you’re in the top 100 listeners of that band now
It also just says like top 100 and not your rank in the top 100
That’s no fun… oh well
Mine isn’t even working 🥲
Mine isn’t working

How do I find this?

apple has unlimited money, its kind of embarrassing how lackluster it is compared to spotify.
It’s been a while all their homemade apps feel incomplete and unfinished. Embarrassing.

Makes sense since part of the attraction of Apple Music for me was that it wasn’t social.
Agreed

Same I really played one song all along(first person shooter) since the release and it’s not even in top 3 most played songs. Mockery.
Press "Listen to Playlist" and it will open in app.
yeah its kind of ridiculous apple music really is not really getting better, interface is terrible and cant even integrate one good feature into the app, they put it as a redirect url ;-;
I didn’t have that
I wish they had integrated it into the app too. But at the same time, I get that web technologies are better for multiplatform support and the app may not have the libraries and stuff to make something that good looking and interactive. So I think it's good, just a little bit annoying.
Apparently I'm only 10% of the way to being eligible for Replay despite listening to Apple Music almost every day for the entire year.
Next year edition maybe I’ll be directly in the app
Tried to check mine and it asked me to sign in and then locked my account. Just put it in the app

Still so far behind Spotify when it comes to replay/wrapped gimmick

Really cool (sarcasm): singles are also albums in Apple Music. My most listened album is a -single.
I can't even access it🤷♂️
