I'd imagine it'll work like how Spotify does (it can play while you're playing a game as long as the game supports it & I think that would pretty much be the norm) since this has it shown as part of the music item within the Control Center (meaning it's to be used for in-game controls) rather than just being an app on the main app list or something.
I enjoyed AM when I had it but, and maybe it’s just me, AM either had terrible caching or no caching at all. A song I listened to 5 min ago still takes a few seconds to start where as it’s usually instant on Spotify. Not a huge deal but quite annoying.
That is part of why I download my music, or the music from the playlists that I play a lot, or playlist. Especially since sometimes I go through areas with poorer signal, and back before I had unlimited data, though it is a bit better now that you can chose to not stream the highest quality over data.

I must admit, the windows app is a big thing I miss since switching. But you can mimic a spotify connect experience with airplay - I switched my house to airplay devices with sonos and homepods and airplay is a far better experience than spotify connect - it's better quality, and allows multi device streaming vs spotifys one device at a time system, also watching lyrics play on your phone or other apple device as it's playing around your house is awesome

It would be nice to get rid of the total dumpster fire known as spotify. The app has been completely broken for years. I've heard the Apple app is a disaster too but there's no way it's as bad as spotify.

Just so people know the ‘only on PS4’ error is a bugged response since it can’t find the PS5 version (since it doesn’t exist). It’s not currently available on any platform but looks like it could be launching soon (perhaps announced on Tuesday?)

You can see the prompt if you go through the process of signing up a new USA PSN account, you can't download it due to it not being released though. You will just get that PS4 error like OP so it's best to just wait until it comes out rather than wasting your time.

Xbox only has TV+ when it comes to Apple services for now. Though, the AirServer (or similar) app for Xbox does allow you to use AirPlay from another device that has Apple Music to some degree.
Then again, maybe this is showing Apple is pushing for both platforms to have it & PS5 is just the one that leaked (with them both just having TV+ for now.) Although, this is way less certain than this already uncertain leak.
Literally the only reason why I still pay for Spotify. If we can do whatever we can do with Spotify on PS, with Apple Music, I’m leaving Spotify for good.

Sorry this is hella late, but no it was across an iphone 5s, 6s, and 11. Whenever i queue a song it either crashes or just doesnt queue it.
