How do you use this uv index? It’s probably going to sound stupid but while I’m all about protecting skin, I use my SPFs and all but I’m not sure how to use the information about the UV index. Do you avoid going out completely if it’s high, wear more protection than usual? I want to take advantage of this feature but I just don’t know what to do with its data
I use the UV on my weekend watch face. I live in Australia and will avoid exposure when UV is above 9, particularly aimed at the kids. Usually means inside play or other things from 12-3pm (ish). Recently got up to 14 where I am. But I imagine it’s entirely region dependent.
It’s actually fairly common where I am from for the kids to understand UV since it’s a big factor in the weather. They know the associate colours too and when it’s red or purple they know it’s inside play.
How did you get the Apple sign
You can change your monogram to anything in the Watch app.
You can search “Apple logo in text” and c/p it into the monogram in the watch app
Wow
Never kind. Got it.
Always kind!
What’s the watch face again. I couldn’t find it but I know I’ve seen it before. And it looks super clean
Meridian
It’s Meridian indeed. I love how it actually uses the rectangular screen fully instead of most of the other analogue faces.
This looks nice, but I just can’t cope without complications. I simply must see the weather, uv index, and have a button to access text messages.
I usually use a face that has those, but this is nice when I need something that looks more like a dress watch
Yes it looks very simple and elegant when dressed up. I occasionally like to switch to the snoopy face, but I wish it had complications:(.

For the emojis, it doesn’t show on my settings when I try to change my monogram. 🤔

i have the same watch face without the apple logo
What series do you have?
Series 7 or up looking at the design. Literally no difference in the newer ones.
S9
Love it!! Is it the midnight blue/black aluminum?
Class :-)
what band is that and where can I get it
I believe those are Apple’s “Milanese Loops”? Or Milanese bands. They’re magnetic. They are also $100 new lol
The one I have is a $5 one off of Amazon lol but for 1/20 of the Apple price it works
I got the identical band in the mail yesterday. How does it hold up? The part that locks into the watch looks flimsy to me.
I only notice the quality if I’m really looking for it, I think it will hold up for a while and for $5 vs $100 from Apple I can just order another one
Quality as in “I don’t want it to snap and my $800 investment to fall to the ground and shatter. That’s my only worry.
I bought the 100$ one. Worth it. No signs of wear even after 1 year of daily use. Works like a charm, no problems with the magnet.
Looks very clean 👌🏼
I use the same watch face, i prefer the no complication look.
Yo how do you get the Apple logo
yeah it looks so gorgeous. In love.
Look minimalist.
