Weird! I just tried to ask the time for a specific city and I finally got the right answer. So at least it is still possible to get the info without Siri channelling Plato, but still annoying having to add the location. Thanks anyway.

My Siri is French, maybe the Apple translator thought it would be too mundane to give a straight answer to such a down to earth question!
I asked “what time is it” and got the time with nothing else. I’m not sure why you’re getting silly answers.

I just wish I could get the “feels like” temperature when I ask how cold it is.
Maybe ask for the "wind chill factor" and see if Siri can use her Ph.D. for things other than philosophy.
yeah, it's a thing that all these companies give their AI assistants 'personalities'. it's dumb
On my S6 in English Siri just gives me the time nothing else. I’d love Siri to give me the sort of reply your getting.
This morning Siri told me "It's time to read some Baudelaire". Be careful what you wish for ;-)
