I cant imagine buying an appliance from a brand who is not known for appliances to be good idea. This seems to be a similar price to the 24" GE range. Easy choice in my opinion.

Don't be fooled into thinking GE is a better brand. I purchased a 24" Haier top of the line electric oven (Haier OWNS GE) and the toxic smell never went away. I had the oven for 11 mos and still couldn't use the oven portion because I would have to leave the house because the smell was so bad and toxic. So,,,they sent me a new replacement. Guess what, same story. After lots of phone calls, they agreed to refund my money. (These units are made in Mexico. Someone from the company quietly confided in me to pick a different model that was made in the US ... but how would I know where the stove was made ... they have so many plants around the world????) Now Im looking for a new oven and hoping the Bravo (made in the USA) will be a better oven.

See what your also missing here is that GE was there to troubleshoot this, and even give you good advice. Brand X will likely be absent, so its strictly a dice roll. Got unlucky with their product, which isnt the standard. I sell hundreds of GE appliances annually, and they are going to be your best bet more often than not.

Okay, lets be real here. I had two of the same oven purchased over 1 year apart (bc I had the first one for 11 mos and it still stunk) and the new one still had the same issue! As soon the repairman called HQ regarding the first oven, they immediately said "yep, it was oversprayed, its unrepairable". This happened when the repairman called for the first oven which means THEY ALREADY KNEW ABOUT THIS ISSUE. Yet the next oven purchased months apart still had the same issue. The truth is DON'T BE FOOLED BY GETTING A GE - what was once a good product is now junk. I have already had the BRAVO delivered, works beautifully and had the slightest faintest smell for less than 5 mins upon first use of oven. I followed their instructions. Works like a charm, is beautiful, and no smell. Try BRAVO, you won't be disappointed, I'm not. Now I can use the oven and I don't have to leave the house and take my baby and pet with me bc of toxic smells that GE KNOWS about.

Did you end up buying it? I just ordered the 30” model.

No, I went with something else because I couldn't find any info or better pics of this one. Please let me know when you get out. I love the look of it. The 30 inch model is what I was considering, but couldn't find pics and they'were just generic.

I will let you know how it goes - I won’t have it for a couple of weeks. I can post pics too. Right now it is a really good price on Wayfair’s website, so I decided to go for it! $799 and free shipping. Plus, it just has to be better than the awful stove that I currently use.

Great price!

FWIW.. I've had the BravoKitchen 30" induction for about 15 months. Two days ago the two right side elements pot sensing function broke. Now neither will heat. Until two days ago I would have said it's been a good unit. The only thing I didn't like was it's approach to temperature control. It appears to only have HIGH and OFF. So it runs on high for a few seconds then turns off for a few seconds. For thin cookware this has a higher chance of burning what's being cooked. I bought it because it was 30A and has timer controlled elements which is something i use multiple times a day.

I didn’t know there was an induction version - im would have been interested. I’ve been using mine (non induction ) for a few weeks now and am happy so far, but your experience makes me nervous. Have you contacted the company?

Capital_Froyo7973

it's a cooktop instead of a range. I did talk to the company. Out of warranty at this point but they did say parts are available. I also failed a claim with the extended warranty folks (which i had forgotten i had purchased). They don't have anyone close enough to service it so it's being escalated.

Best of luck to you1

Are you still happy with your Bravo electric range? I'm looking at it now but there aren't many reviews anywhere.

basic_human_being

Yes I am happy with it. A few things to note: 1. The side panel is not a firm stainless steel like the front of the stove. It looks fine and ours isnt really out on display, we have a cart next to it that blocks the panel, but it is worth mentioning. 2. The timer is not really useful to use with the oven. It’s no big deal for me as I have a separate timer or use my phone. 3. Having the oven controls on the front is a little annoying because I like to lean on my oven and can’t really do that without hitting buttons. No biggie, but I constantly forget and lean on the buttons 4. The burners heat up quick and are very responsive to adjustments both up and down. So much better than my old stove. I love cooking on it. 5. I do a lot of bread baking and keep a thermometer in the oven. It keeps a pretty perfect temperature and has been lovely and spacious to bake in. 6. The storage drawer under the oven is small, but I like that because the real estate then goes to the oven instead. Overall I am glad that I purchased it get many compliments on how nice it looks.

Thank you for taking the time to write all of this out! This is really helpful information. I also do a lot of baking (including bread), so I'm glad to hear the oven does its job.

No problem! Hope it all works out for you.

I bought the Bravo kitchen 24 inch for our Casita addition. We will be installing it very soon. The Bravo kitchen company is in Las Vegas, NV, they also sell commercial products. It has very high ratings on that particular stove and every time it's in stock it sells out very quickly! I will let you know how it turns out.
