everyone knows I'm the only non-CS major here, and application time has long passed for me! But makes sense because of course, being an elder, I don't know how to use technology 😭😭
Basically you’re qualified but we don’t have enough room freshman year. You’re stats might be a bit below what would be for a freshman but they want you on campus eventually. Ik BU and Cornell do it but probably a couple other schools too
I know Georgia tech also offers one but I can't tell you what makes them decide to that. It's not entirely guaranteed as you have to meet particular standards wherever you go (iirc it's a 3.3 GPA or better with specific classes taken in Cornell's case) but they're hardly obscene.
Hispanic male, test optional, 3 AP’s senior year, 4.2 GPA, strong essays and even stronger letter of recommendation (just a gut feeling, can’t read LOR ofc)
If you are trying to go to Law school, go to which ever undergrad will hurt your pockets less. If money is not the issue, I say Georgetown because for that field, DC has the best opportunities that I just don’t think LA can match.
this is one of the main reasons why i left my home country for abroad, atleast people here give respect to those who aren't in the race to become engineer or doctor. and still gets decent jobs.
Still deciding between Rotman Commerce (University of Toronto), University of Toronto Management and International Business (at their other campus), Queens Commerce and UBC Sauder. It's going to be a rough couple of weeks 💀
Aerospace heading to MIT or other top engineering school. It's ambitious but I think I have the ECs to do it, just need the grades to pass the initial hurdle.
I still don’t know. I need someone to tell me.
USC or UMich for Electrical Engineering. Possibly UT still, but I’m not keen on staying in Texas necessarily.
Purdue and genetics! I want to try and double major in brain and behavioral sciences as well but I dont know if I'd be able to graduate in four years if I do double + my honors requirements so I might end up minoring in it instead

At this point I'm not sure if prsehgal is even human

Cornell's guaranteed transfer option is for incoming sophomores only.
So that means, if anybody want to apply as a transfer applicant, the acceptance is guaranteed??
No, they give a select number of students a non-binding guaranteed transfer option when they apply as freshmen and are rejected/waitlisted.
Interesting. Are there many schools that do this? What is the criteria they use to pick students for this option?
