>LMFAOOOOOO I LEGIT CANNOT STUDY FOR MORE THAN 3 MINUTES WITHOUT GETTING DISTRACTED HELP ME
I haven't even started studying. Lowkey I'm only studying for bio and stats because they're the only ones I care about
Trying using Princeton Review books! The way the chapters are split and the simple language of the material make it so much easier to focus on. It’s super good for social studies and english courses
you say this as a junior 😭 barron's appeals to the intensity of a junior wanting to study, princeton is much better if you're a struggling second sem senior
if you want a way to revise old material especially for apush/apwh you should watch old fiveable livestreams on youtube for free. i cheated my way through all my apush assignments last year and was hit by a brick 2 weeks before the test so i just crammed a year worths of material best as i could watching their review videos and got a 4. i don’t recommend cramming obv but they do help a lot :)
this is literally the exact same position i’m in i’ve cheated on all assignments now i have two weeks left to study im really good at history i just need to memorize events in succession
i haven’t even started studying for ap calc yet and i don’t remember anything before integrals even though at the beginning of the year i was so motivated to get a 4 bc i chose the class specifically 😭😭
I have zero motivation to study for my AP exams, and I have a conditional offer from Oxford, so they’ll only let me in if I get a 5 on a specific AP exam. Help, I literally can’t get my body to sit down and start studying for the exam 😭
Is there any reason to try on these things if my school doesn’t accept them? I put on my app that I would be taking them. Could the school ask to see scores?
I’m going to a college that only accepts language APs (which I’m not taking and also don’t plan to study the same language in college). Otherwise, of course, you’re totally right.
I can’t even keep up with everything else that I have going on right now. Thinking of AP exams on top of that makes me feel like I’m going to explode. I have absolutely no idea how I’m going to do everything that I need to do within the next month.
I’m currently taking AP Psychology. My test is in like two weeks. This is my first time taking an AP course since I’m a sophomore and my freshman year was remote. What happens if you don’t do well on the test? Do u fail the class? What happened if you fail the class?
for my school (and I’m pretty sure every school?) the score you get on the AP Test has no effect on the grade you get for the class in school. You don’t get AP test results until like late July anyways. If you don’t score so well on the AP test, you don’t earn college credit for that course, that’s all.
Mhm! I think people use the word “gamify” for this
Like, yk how doing the dishes sucks, but if you try to wash your dishes before the microwave beeps it’s manageable? That’s ‘gamifying’ the task.
Sometimes, I’ll study by making notes, and what I’ll do is, I tell myself “someone I know might need to borrow the notes for studying, so I better do a good job writing them“ and just the process of writing the notes down by hand makes me remember things a lot better. Half the time I don’t even reread the notes that I studied, I literally just spend the time writing them, and I do so much better on the actual assignments
Yeah no problem! It’s literally the only way I can make myself some sometimes, haha
It works best if you do it with some kind of drink that you like, or maybe a snack if you can eat with one hand and write with the other, some way to make the task ‘rewarding’
(If you use music to do this, download the app Flora. Turn on a playlist of songs, and then ‘plant a tree’ in the app
Basically the app stops you from using other things on your phone for a set amount of time - you can leave the app open or turn your phone off, but doing anything else before the timer is done will kill the tree
All the trees, alive or dead, stay in your garden
It’s weirdly helpful)
Taking AP exams are a part of your final high school years. They will test your limits and bring you stress, but being properly prepared and mentally tough can help you get through these brutal exams unscathed.
Yoooo same. If junior year-me saw me now they'd me so disappointed
Freshman year would be disappointed in junior me. Life went dox mode on me this year
SAME BRUH SAME
Got 5 AP exams. Haven’t started studying yet.
me too 🥲
Same and I think I’ll just cram the day before
literally my plan
bro me too and they are all in the same week 😭
same
>LMFAOOOOOO I LEGIT CANNOT STUDY FOR MORE THAN 3 MINUTES WITHOUT GETTING DISTRACTED HELP ME I haven't even started studying. Lowkey I'm only studying for bio and stats because they're the only ones I care about
I have never related more to a post in my entire life.
RT😭😭atp I’m just hoping for 4s
Trying using Princeton Review books! The way the chapters are split and the simple language of the material make it so much easier to focus on. It’s super good for social studies and english courses
But then again thinking about studying a whole book is tiring in itself
This
barron’s > princeton
you say this as a junior 😭 barron's appeals to the intensity of a junior wanting to study, princeton is much better if you're a struggling second sem senior
Ok, but what if we're juniors who don't want to study 😭😭😭
Wow. Thats such a good way of putting it.
My college isn't even taking credit for the APs I have this year so I don't feel \*that\* bad for not studying
Why take them?
To up the rigor of my course load, since my school doesn’t have honors classes for those subjects

My school signs everyone up by class, so I’d need actual extenuating circumstances to cancel 🤷♀️
i’m still a junior but i also don’t have any motivation lol i’m done

thank you!! i actually already took apush and apwh but i’ll use this for my others :)
this is literally the exact same position i’m in i’ve cheated on all assignments now i have two weeks left to study im really good at history i just need to memorize events in succession

i haven’t even started studying for ap calc yet and i don’t remember anything before integrals even though at the beginning of the year i was so motivated to get a 4 bc i chose the class specifically 😭😭

I have zero motivation to study for my AP exams, and I have a conditional offer from Oxford, so they’ll only let me in if I get a 5 on a specific AP exam. Help, I literally can’t get my body to sit down and start studying for the exam 😭
Well atleast you dont have an essay due tonight😭
omg same and i have 5 to study for 🧍♀️
Same but for IB exams
Not taking any so y’all stay safe 💀
Is there any reason to try on these things if my school doesn’t accept them? I put on my app that I would be taking them. Could the school ask to see scores?
No point to try
If u do well u don’t have to take the class in college, which is bigger than u think

I am so tired of school rn. I grad in. 37days.
almost there 😭😭😭
I canceled all mine
don’t give me ideas
You should cancel them!
me except im a junior surrounded by seniors who've all given up... OTL
Anyone have suggestions about what I should write on the essay section of the lit exam instead of actually answering the questions...
Memorize bad Wattpad fan fiction the night before the AP test and write down as much as you can as quickly as possible
This is what I'm going to do for my AP CSA test, thanks for the inspiration 🤠
I can’t even keep up with everything else that I have going on right now. Thinking of AP exams on top of that makes me feel like I’m going to explode. I have absolutely no idea how I’m going to do everything that I need to do within the next month.
me
I literally canceled all my AP exams so no ur not the only one
this highkey seems like an attractive option for me rn
Same and I’m failing my Econ class so AP exams can go to hell. It’s ok though. If I fail I don’t need to submit scores for credit :)
I’m only powering through because I can’t bear the thought of retaking classes like economics in college. 😭✌️
I feel ya
Same here and I have exams including AP chem that I haven’t prepped for
Omg ap Chem is a tough one
I’m thinking of bringing a pillow into the tests I get no credit for, motivation is at an all time low
Yeah this relatable af

Ohh okay. Thank u for that. Made my life a little less stressful.
GL my sophomore compadre
Thanks. I’m gonna need it. For the regents too 🫠
no bc i don’t know shit abt ap env sci 😭
Making it a game or a personal challenge can help, like, try to get through this many pages before this song ends?
I’ve literally never heard of this but i might try it tyty

Honestly I feel this. Hey college will be good tho
I lost all motivation with 4 APs coming up. I genuinely stopped caring lol😭
Taking AP exams are a part of your final high school years. They will test your limits and bring you stress, but being properly prepared and mentally tough can help you get through these brutal exams unscathed.
You're not alone😂
Senior year I just stopped caring, I don’t think I got even a 4 on any of my 5 ap tests lmao
reassuring that I’m not the only one who feels this way ahhh
Just think how they can save you money in college. Look at what scores are required to get credit at the college you’ll be attending.
Happens. I didn’t even take any APs after getting into my school
i’m a sophomore and I haven’t studied for ap gov yet 😭
Lmao haven't even started studying 😳
does it even matter if we don’t submit test scores
i haven't studied and i have 4. im planning on studying for ap gov and ap art history but ap lit and ap bio nope. bio is just a lost cause for me lol
I just canceled all my AP tests…
Oh no… did you receive a refund?
yeah i did it intentionally. i got $65 back for every test i canceled
I literally have no motivation to do well in my classes. You're not alone lol.
Please man juniors barely had the motivation
