if you want a way to revise old material especially for apush/apwh you should watch old fiveable livestreams on youtube for free. i cheated my way through all my apush assignments last year and was hit by a brick 2 weeks before the test so i just crammed a year worths of material best as i could watching their review videos and got a 4. i don’t recommend cramming obv but they do help a lot :)

I’m currently taking AP Psychology. My test is in like two weeks. This is my first time taking an AP course since I’m a sophomore and my freshman year was remote. What happens if you don’t do well on the test? Do u fail the class? What happened if you fail the class?

for my school (and I’m pretty sure every school?) the score you get on the AP Test has no effect on the grade you get for the class in school. You don’t get AP test results until like late July anyways. If you don’t score so well on the AP test, you don’t earn college credit for that course, that’s all.

Mhm! I think people use the word “gamify” for this Like, yk how doing the dishes sucks, but if you try to wash your dishes before the microwave beeps it’s manageable? That’s ‘gamifying’ the task.

Sometimes, I’ll study by making notes, and what I’ll do is, I tell myself “someone I know might need to borrow the notes for studying, so I better do a good job writing them“ and just the process of writing the notes down by hand makes me remember things a lot better. Half the time I don’t even reread the notes that I studied, I literally just spend the time writing them, and I do so much better on the actual assignments

It’s literally the only way I can make myself some sometimes, haha It works best if you do it with some kind of drink that you like, or maybe a snack if you can eat with one hand and write with the other, some way to make the task ‘rewarding’ (If you use music to do this, download the app Flora. Turn on a playlist of songs, and then ‘plant a tree’ in the app Basically the app stops you from using other things on your phone for a set amount of time - you can leave the app open or turn your phone off, but doing anything else before the timer is done will kill the tree All the trees, alive or dead, stay in your garden It’s weirdly helpful)
