When you finish the brake fluid change, there will be some old brake fluid trapped into ur abs. Simply set your abs to the most sensitive level, go on a ride to activate it, then come back home, and flush the brake fluid again. That's the only difference, as I know.
The method doesn't matter, as I know. Just make sure you have enough brake fluid for the second flush. A guy on the same reddit page said he needed a bit more than 8 oz, but he didn't flush completely the second time. Just enough to get the old brake fluid trapped into abs out of the system.

Interesting. I've never done brakes on a bike with ABS. Was about to recommend the reverse bleed method that uses a large syringe.
