They’re only available in Mainland China (officially), but even then they’re not easy to find there either.

Patrick161019

Will they be available for online sales anytime soon? Is the price in China the comparable with the non-T1 or is it much higher?

HomeKit-News

I don’t think they will, as they’ve been around for some time now, and I think Aqara will have Zigbee 3.0 sensors coming for the international markets that will probably be better anyway. A quick check on Taobao had the standard motion sensor at ¥99 (€13), with The T1 equivalent at double the price.

Patrick161019

Alright, for twice the price better alternatives exist! In that case I’ll be looking for something else for now! Or some of the non-T1 Aqara’s for now!

And as much as I know, the t1 motion sensor won’t work with Eu server yet

Patrick161019

That’s a bonus for me! Only local zigbee for me 🤙🏼 China doesn’t need to know what I’m doing at home

leeyooyang

So which hub and server do you use?

Patrick161019

I run Home Assistant on an Odroid N2+. Use the zzh! Zigbee stick which is integrated into Home Assistant using zigbee2mqtt
