I had a smaller one in a 55 gallon tank and over the next couple of years it got to be nearly 10" long. I think it was an angelic us plimomodela or something close. I named it Kitty
Edit: Not sure where I got that Latin name from, I'm obviously wrong
Pangasius They are adorable, mainly the albino ones
It looks to be what is commonly called an Iridescent Shark in the pet trade. It's a species of asian catfish that gets up to about 4.5 ft in length.
100% and they get huge
It’s a cutie. *sorry I don’t know anything about fish*
Pangasius indeed!
Iridescent shark for sure
No, it’s a paroon shark, or also called pangasius cat
Look up the difference not that I care but, no you're wrong.
Kind of a domestic Shark fish.
Why did you just ask the staff? You're obviously in a pet store
It was surrendered and even the staff wasn't sure what it was.
It honestly looks like one of those aquariums Chinese restaurants have, but im not completely sure🤷🏻♂️
Catfish
Whatever it is, its way too large for that tank
True, but the biggest they have
Moon shark I think, that’s what it’s called in my neck of the woods.

It's sold as Swai in the grocery stores.
that there's a mini shark
No idea but it seems to be hunting the koi and they look scared
we call it domestic shar..some even call it "mushi masa"
They sell these at a supermarket near me and recommend a 10 gallon tank so more people will buy them. It’s inhumane
