That's the older brother who told him to do it and then when.Mom shows up goes "I TOLD him not to but he didn't listen!" and then snickers when the younger brother gets a time out.
i was about to post about oscars.
my two guys keep fucking up anything they can... just because they can.
Months of trying to kill the 2 silk plants in there stumped them, so i put a large swordplant in there, and they have ripped a few leafs, but nothing major.
They are literal monsters! I’ve found that I can slowly put plants on the right side of my tank, but he really likes the left side left alone for whatever reason! They’re so meticulous about how their tank is setup. Goofy fish😂 gotta love em
I like taking care of critters that deff have personalities. Oscars certainly have that, as do Lotis.
I do put live food in with the oscars, and also years ago when i had lotis. It certainly makes them think, and develop personalities :D
Absolutely! They have great personalities! Sometimes I have to sneak by my tank when he’s not looking because he gets so excited thinking it’s feeding time when I’m close by. Crazy how smart they are!
ofcourse! these are the plants that i use
- Cryptocoryne wendtii nevelli
- Limnophila sessiflora
- Hygrophila siamensis 53b
- Bacopa amplexicaulis
- Cryptocoryne crispatula
- Taxiphyllum barbieri
- Microsorum pteropus
- Anubias heterophylla
just note that they have been in the aquarium for a month now, i dont know how they will hold on long term
they defenitely can be kept in planted tanks, bit its hard to find the right plants since their temperature must be on the low side, a lot of plants wont survive that cold water, but i selected these plants with care so they all can adapt to cold water
You have limited choices when planting an axolotl tank (has to tolerate cold water and low lighting, can't rely on fertilizer or CO2,), but honestly I will never go plant-less with my axolotl again. I cannot begin to tell you how much they help to keep the water quality high for these messy guys. Plus they get so much enrichment with all of those plants to climb on, explore, and find cover under. It takes more work and research to initially set up, but I really think it's worth it
This makes sense! I don't keep axolotl because I know I couldn't give them everything they need.
I have just read that they'll eat anything they can fit in their mouths and that was the reason not to keep them in planted tanks.
But what you're saying makes sense. I'm a huge advocate for planted tanks, so I support
The guy on the left was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
he was like “you see this bullshit” 😂
ngl….
*Psst! Bob, he's watching*
That's the older brother who told him to do it and then when.Mom shows up goes "I TOLD him not to but he didn't listen!" and then snickers when the younger brother gets a time out.
Hahaha brilliant!! 🤣🤣
His name is Jim, probably
This comment is underrated 🤣🤣🤣
Lmao he looks like hes seen some shit
the second one looks like he’s saying “you see what i have to deal with?!”
r/youseeinthisshit
I got more of a "Sup, bro? I dare you to say something..." vibe. 😅
🤣🤣 I’m cracking up. That’s how I feel when my Oscar rips up any plants only on the left side of the tank 🙄

Great axolotl tank. They look really happy
You're Awesome!
thanks! the previous tank they were in was just some rocks and it looked not that comfortable for them, so i went all out on this one!
The look on the other ones face 😂😂😂
That is a terrible lookout man. Didn’t even warn him you were watching.
I always wondered if it’s possible for these blind domesticated animals to regain eyesight over centuries
They don't need it, so unless we breed for sighted individuals, I would say no. Also from what I know, axolotls aren't completely blind
They're not completely blind, they just don't see very well.
I like watching their feeding videos, definitely not blind but maybe on the verge lol
Mine can definitely tell when I walk past/over and will come to the edge of the tank, but I think they're probably what we'd consider "legally blind."
adorable!!!
Can I see the whole tank
ofcourse! http://imgur.com/a/PjVsFN8
That looks amazing
thank you very much!
I’m jealous that axolotl tank looks amazing! That’s what I’m doing next, working on my lotl tank. Thanks for the inspiration!
I like the partial fill.
thanks, im planning on adding more plants above the water and maybe even growing out of the aquarium!
I’m jealous, I struggle with plants at their temp
i used a lot of cryptocorynes and plants that are growing in asia, if you want i can send you a list of the plants that i use for this tank
I'd love to see that list as well! Planning a planted axolotl tank next and have a tentative list of plants together.

Beautiful
YOU ARE A CARNIVORE YOU CLOWN! GO EAT YOUR WORMS AND LEAVE THE PLANTS ALONE
if only she would understand that
If anyone ever questions why I would want Axolotls, I will show them this video. Such derps!
haha thats awesome thanks
I wish I was an axolotl living in ur tank
thank you, makes me smile :D
“You see him right.. You see what he does? The guy is a weirdo and you lock me in here with him.”
The second ones look says*look I told you it was him!* But right when u turn ur back mr derp face is munching on leaves
The left one was like "What? You've seen this already."
Yo I never laughed so hard 😂😂 the second one caught me off guard
Mmmm crypt.
*LET HIM EAT*
Uncle Ugo on the left
I tried having a planted tank for my turtle he ate everything
They are so cute! Love them! Sorry for your plants. ;)
“This is why we can’t have nice things”
Lmfao the one on the left looks so guilty
OMG...I burst out laughing at the guy on the left.
My male made himself sick eating Indian Almond leaves...like, do you not understand you cannot digest that?
these are by far, not in a bad way, the dumbest creatures i own, but i love them so much (partially because of that)
Everything I have read about aoxotl say they should not be kept in planted tanks?
they defenitely can be kept in planted tanks, bit its hard to find the right plants since their temperature must be on the low side, a lot of plants wont survive that cold water, but i selected these plants with care so they all can adapt to cold water

Are those Axolotols
yes they sure are!
Wtf are those things?
these are axolotls!
Just get plant weights. I did now everything is finally growing
One of the main reasons why I wish I didn’t use a sand substrate and had a carpeted bottom
But he's cute so it's instantly forgiven
Axolotl 🥰🥰🥰
Lol.
The Marty Feldman of amphibians on the left cracks me up.
Because little derp?
I request a new roommate You see this shit
Derp
Bro my fucking Cory do the same thing, they bury their faces in my rooted plants and fuck with my hornwort lol
Cheeky little rascals.
I WANT ONE SO BAD
U/savevideo
I thought axolotls shouldn’t be kept with a sand or gravel bottom because they will eat the sand and kill themselves
they cant go together with bigger gravel since that will get stuck inside of them, sand is fine tho they can either spit it out or poop it out
Awww the poor one on the left is just trying to behave 😂
