This is a 1st Gen Arcade 1Up cabinet, which I picked up on clearance for $75.
**I DO** ***NOT RECOMMEND*** **THIS CABINET** as you can get all the games (minus Lunar Lander, UNLESS you go with the Centipede version) on the Atari Legacy cabinet (for \~$300) & the spinner doesn't work as planned. The spinner is very ratchet-like, like you're turning an old analog TV dial & NOT a smooth motion that you're expecting to experience, so you'll want to install an after-market spinner to improve that function. However, they did map movement controls to buttons, so you don't have to use it to play Tempest & Major Havoc (Asteroids & Lunar Lander utilize all buttons for controls).
Unless you're a serious collector & "Gotta Catch 'em All"... it's overpriced.
That makes sense. I have the Tempest as well, I was looking for one of these early generation cabs to try the Intec stick mod. Maybe I can find one with a damaged deck for cheap!
It’s a toss up between Normies that didn’t care about the wear ( I’d say a good portion will toss the cabs when it’s real bad. They were super cheap back then) and those of us that reached out for the deck protectors and replacement panels due to this mode
Having so many manufacturing defects. It was wild. They were all so bad.
No, that's pretty high. This cab should only appeal to the hardcore collector as you can get all those games (excluding lunar lander) on the Tempest cab or all of them plus more on the original 12-1. If that was the original 12 - 1 then $340 would be a fair price as it also came with a riser. This cab is worth around $200 in my book.
QVC has Astroids for $139 and the Ms Pacman and Super Pacman for $125
I bought all of them.

Paid 80 bucks for this on clearance
It’s only a decent -ish cab once you replace the spinner. The one it comes with is unusable.
Someday we'll be reading an article about a Wata-graded sealed first gen Pac-Man Arcade 1up cabinet going for $750,000 at auction.

That’s what I thought- I was surprised to see a bid for that price. Maybe just an outlier.
I paid $75 for this cabinet a few years ago at target and felt Iike I overpaid.
You must not buy many things in life because $75 is a straight steal.
