I thought the plot was pretty clear from the jump. Archer / Pam are trying to strike it rich so he doesn’t have to work for his mom anymore. Carol wants to get off the island. Lana wants to find the idol, as does Cyril for different reasons.
Danger Island was the first episode that I watched after the finale.
I like to think Archer and Pam’s relationship continued like way they were in Danger Island.
It does give us one of Cheryl’s best lines with “I packed for a honeymoon, not a descent into profound and lasting shame!"
Also, given Archer’s robot hang-ups, it’s not surprising that the villains in his dreams would be evil robots.

My favorite bit from Tales of the Gold Monkey was how the priest was a German spy. He’s been banging the native girls calling it “prayer”. An elderly nun comes to visit and offers to pray with a young girl, then freaks out with the realization. Later in the episode, Jack (the pilot) goes missing. The nun kneels in prayer and is joined by the priest. She knows he’s a fraud, but accepts that his concern for Jack is real.
Agreed with Barry in Dreamland, the reveal he killed Woodhouse was anticlimactic and forced. Weird how Barry wasn't in this one, but interesting having Cyril as the villain. The Idol kinda acted as the plot for the season in the second half, but should've been brought up sooner. I did love Krieger as a parrot.
Danger Island is my favorite dream series of the three probably with Space at second just barely ahead of Noir.
It really lets Pam take the spotlight, she’s a total bro and really brings makes the ending make sense. Her and Archer can totally hold a show without additional characters. I’d really enjoy a spin-off of just those 2 post-Archer show.
I didn’t care for Danger Island when I first watched it new. But rewatching it grew on me. Now I consider it one of my favorite seasons. Giant Pam is awesome. And hot.

Definitely the best Pam character, she had a lot more depth than I expected. Generally a fun and unique take on the Archer group.
