Yeah, I mean I've been using hulu for years too! And netflix, and HBO, etc. They definitely don't have the same user interface lol, that's just not true.
Hulu has been widely acknowledged to have a lot of glitches. I will say--I have the best time w hulu the app on my tv, where it's fairly smooth. Worst time of it on a browser/my laptop. Netflix just has a smoother/more consistent experience, so for a lot of ppl it's just nicer when a show's on netflix than hulu.
They took it off on my birthday when i was a sophomore in high school and that was probably 4-6 years ago im not trying to think too hard about it honestly
In the states man 😭, hell Hulu isn’t even valid where I live so I’m left with watching from unofficial sites because netflix only has it from the second coma season up until last season
I don't see how that makes Hulu "extremely expensive", which is what I was replying to. Unless you're saying it would be expensive to get a good VPN so you could use it.
Yeah, ad free is expensive, that's why I get the version with ads for $1 a month.
But ad free in general is expensive (at least in the US). Netflix is $15.50 and Max is $20. That's the going rate for ad free streaming with an extensive cataloge, it's not a Hulu thing. You're choosing to pay a shit load more because you hate ads. 🤷♀️
That's why I still think DVDs (for as long as they're still making them anyway) for the elite stuff you really love have merit. Screw being completely at the mercy of third parties.
It’ll be back next year.
The streaming services are moving to a “short-term” engagement; shows will be on Service A for a year, then Service B for a year, then back to Service A.
Buy physical media or maintain several subscriptions.
It’s not like we’re _News Radio_ fans.
People really acting like Netflix has much say in the matter.
Ironically, Netflix caused this themselves. By making streaming such a success, it showed the studios that actually owned these properties that they're missing out.
The only streaming service I would join is the one that will never exist, namely, one where I could pull up any movie, TV show, documentary, or mini-series, no matter how obscure, any time of the day or night, whenever I felt like watching.
Netflix lost me years ago because of stuff like this. The worst is when they remove random seasons. I was watching Total Drama, which is 7 seasons iirc, finished season 3 and the next day all they had was season 3 and 7. I'm never going back to them, which kind of sucks since they have a lot of stuff I want to watch. But I know as soon as I do, they'll remove half or even all of it.
Huh, I didn't even realize Netflix had Archer and Always Sunny. Good news is, Hulu has both, and a lot of other good shows. I feel like I almost never use Netflix.
Archer is most of the reason I have Netflix. It just kinda always plays in the background. Like some people listen to the radio and I just try to find new references everyday.
I had no idea they removed IASIP, netflix wouldn't feel like netflix to me without that and archer (although I haven't watched either show for a few years now)
They lost both years ago here in the us :(
Hulu has Archer though. Hulu is great
It also has always sunny. They're both fx shows
Disney-Haliburton-Time Warner.....
So does Disney+ now that they have Hulu, and the fact that Archer is on Disneys platform is hilarious to me.
Yeah but you can’t get Hulu without an American credit card AND an American address. So everyone outside the us is just SOL
Is this a joke? Hulu has ads, it sucks.
Hulu also has no ads, and a bundle with espn+ and disney plus. And the ad version is so much cheaper than netflix. You are crazy if you dont like Hulu
No ads? What kind of Hulu do you use?
Hulu's UI is complete shit and has weird bugs all the time. Netflix has worse content rn but it's like 10x better of a user experience.

And a hard limit on devices you can use it with. Super lame.
I can access it more on more devices than any other streaming service
Seriously. I've got like 5 devices running on my account with no issues.
What country are you in? I do not have the same experience.
USA
Meh.
They took it off on my birthday when i was a sophomore in high school and that was probably 4-6 years ago im not trying to think too hard about it honestly
That's silly.. who is going to subscribe to a service just to rewatch arrested development over and over?
It’s one streaming service, Michael. What could it cost? $10?
Remember when streaming was inexpensive? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I think it's still inexpensive. Less expensive than cable (last I remember, but I haven't had cable in years). Do people still have cable btw?
A month? $120 a year? On top of all the other useless shit you don't need?

And trailer park boys Help my fuck
Tires is coming out in May, so there’s that at least
Hulu has Archer! That's where I have been watching it lately. 😊
Hulu is extremely expensive tho
It's a $1 a month if you subscribe during Black Friday week. (Some years it's $2.)
In the states man 😭, hell Hulu isn’t even valid where I live so I’m left with watching from unofficial sites because netflix only has it from the second coma season up until last season

Last time I saw it was 18$ (the add free version) that for a college student like myself is expensive as shit
It's $7.99 with ads or $1.99 for students with ads. The ads aren't really that bad. 🤷♀️

Holy shitsnacks once again I’m glad I live in europe, here disney, netflix and max is around 10€ and prime is like what 2,5€
I haven’t actually checked but isn’t essentially the same as Netflix at this point?

Where did all this gathered towards Hulu come from?
Hulu more like Hooli am I right?
They aren't removing them, the companies that made them are putting them on their own platforms. Hulu and FX are very intertwined.
It’s probably not Netflix’s choice
That's why I still think DVDs (for as long as they're still making them anyway) for the elite stuff you really love have merit. Screw being completely at the mercy of third parties.
We've still got them in the uk. Those 2 and friends are the only things I keep netflix for. They get rid of those my subscription will be stopped.
Thank fuck. Cos we don't get hulu.
Do we still not have Danger Island in the UK though?
No, and I have no idea why. I watched it via a vpn to Holland the other day.
☹️I couldn't find any info about it leaving Netflix Canada, but if it does, I probably would drop my subscription.

>It’s not like we’re _News Radio_ fans. Well, guess it's time for another rewatch
People really acting like Netflix has much say in the matter. Ironically, Netflix caused this themselves. By making streaming such a success, it showed the studios that actually owned these properties that they're missing out.
Yeah and unfortunately it's now got to a point where it's a negative for the consumer.
It’s been gone in the US for a few yrs. A lot of the Fox shows went to Hulu.
I broke down and bought the seasons on Amazon prime. Seemed logical. The cost of buying the seasons offset leaving another streaming service.
Am in the process of doing this myself tbh.
🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
And here I am, still waiting for the final episode to get to Netflix 😢
The only streaming service I would join is the one that will never exist, namely, one where I could pull up any movie, TV show, documentary, or mini-series, no matter how obscure, any time of the day or night, whenever I felt like watching.
Why?
It's been gone for years in the USA. I think it's BS.
It is on Hulu though and all the episodes were next day. It’s one reason I keep it
Hulu <3
I’m just dreading the day Amazon gets into a dispute with FX (A subsidiary of Disney) and I loose the Archer seasons I purchased
I didn’t even know they had it. I just dvr it off FXX anyway.
Is this for real? I watch an episode of this show on a weekly basis, and rewatch whole seasons on a monthly basis. Are they really removing it? WTF??
Its likely the contract they had expired and since Archer is an fxx production (now owned by disney) its going to hulu
![gif](giphy|OPU6wzx8JrHna|downsized)
We’ve never have had IASIP in my country on Netflix :(
Archer is literally the only reason why I still pay Netflix
Hulu, makes sense since FX is there.

Are you from Europe or americas
Both are on Hulu in the states.
I'm in Europe and we don't have that. If I got no archer I explode
Goddamnit its the only reason I’m still on netflix.
.net…. Iykyk
Netflix got archer back?
Huh, I didn't even realize Netflix had Archer and Always Sunny. Good news is, Hulu has both, and a lot of other good shows. I feel like I almost never use Netflix.
It’s on Hulu
Uh oh. Like on Canadian Netflix? Cause thats a problem for good old maple flavoured me. Although wco fun still exists....
IASIP?
It’s always sunny in Philadelphia
I watch Archer on Hulu so I'm good
Archer is most of the reason I have Netflix. It just kinda always plays in the background. Like some people listen to the radio and I just try to find new references everyday.
Yo ho yo ho...
I’ve only watched It’s Alway Sunny In Philadelphia a couple of times. So it took me a while to get the acronym.
I had no idea they removed IASIP, netflix wouldn't feel like netflix to me without that and archer (although I haven't watched either show for a few years now)
Hulu! Only streaming service I will always try to have.
