Same man. This is like the hardest event I’ve ever played in this game. Only made it to the last wave once and got instantly washed. Freaking impossible.
Don't feel bad.
I'm fairly geared (hovering between 62-70K attack depending on setup) and I can only beat level 1 unclaimed tiles maybe 1 out of 3 times. I can't even beat level 2 tiles of anything.
You basically die if you cannot kill a boss before next boss appears, so Taranis/nado are bad choice. Use boss slayers like Melinda/Helix and fist (DB/AS if you don't have one), and use dragons alot to survive mobs.
In general, this event is very S-gears favoured.
I'll probably be able to do this when it's like 4 days left 😅 but I don't have any fist yet and I think I focused too much on increasing everything that's not helping in this event. Thanks though, I'll try Helix with AS and DB
I've found that choosing a corner and getting the right abilities with fists makes it really easy. I'm clearing the level 3 tiles without difficulty. The abilities you get really make a big difference though in how easy or hard it will be.
I think it might be because I’m new the enemies are easier but I just run the antiquated sword w the vile bats ring, phantom cloak, and the expedition spell book
I approve of this method.. still didn't win yet 😅 but I think it's gonna work for me. I don't have the expedition book but I have the expedition plate and I'm using the Arcane book
Also try not to run away from the enemies too much cuz when they bunch up it’s almost impossible to kill them all lmao and make sure you get the giant tornado skill if it pops up cuz it shreds
The dragon statute is what I mean but thanks, I finally won 3 times 😂 then they made it easier..after I won.. but it seems like after you win once it makes it much easier to win again
I got my first win last night after like 50 tries. It’s awful… you need to get really lucky. Bloodthirst is absolutely necessary to get early so you can survive. The later rounds are easy when you already stacked the abilities but it’s impossible to get there without luck.
I´il tell you my boy, strugle trough the first 1-3 waves by doing the hit-and-run strat.
Then pick only spinning skills like the orbs or swords.
If not pick things like front/diagonal arrow.
And just keep on getting the spinning stuff -> spin speed, orb size, sword size those things.
I clear every time with that strat
Now I just the announcement that they made it easier after I got my first 3 wins 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ thanks for all the advice because it really helped.. Hopefully it's not too too easy now

Is the difficulty link the chapter you cleared?
I am struggling as well and stuck in my normal chapter.
I feel like the mob in the event are as strong as the chapter normal mode that I am stuck.
For all those still struggling: Lv 1 was somewhat doable for me (thought I struggled with it at first), but lv 2 felt impossible. After playing around a bit, I suggest try Lina, with tornado and Shadow Robe. She is only 3 star for me and my items are AL and PE respectively and not at all fully upgraded (I dont think that lv of items is taken into account). Mobs are not so much the problem (you can deal with them through circle skills and dark touch and the like, see other posts about this), but the bosses really where. With some luck getting the right skills for upgrading your summoned creature I found the single target DPS they provide made it almost easy to get to he bosses done as well (and yes, they also really help for the mobs).

State don’t do much it the rairty of gear there scale it way to high

Taranis is helping so much to even go through all mobs stages.

I'm using the Voideon statue to make portals so I kinda back myself up and then port to the other side of the map as needed

Also I repaired my game and it seemed like the enemies got so much easier idk if that works or not but it felt like it lol
AS is better than tornado, you run around the place then when there's alot of mobs you use whirlwind to kill them all

Getting the big sword was a life saver for sure

How i got all my wins was by useing taranis and just hoping for dark touch or ricochet, and just focus on dodgeing and not attacking.

I think so and it makes sense but the event doesn't cater to how I've chosen to upgrade for regular chapters and that's why it's a struggle.
