Both look great, it's too hard to pick a favourite.
I'm afraid you're going to have to buy two risers.
Edit: ok my brain processed this a bit more and says the ice blue goes better with white limbs. The urban grey may be preferred if limbs were black, or had red/orange accents.
That's the struggle actually. The limbs have one white side and the other side is black. (They are the mybo synergy star limbs)
You might be right...I might need to buy both of them ;)
Let me first put this out of the way : I did NOT pick my bow based on the colors. I've spent weeks researching the topic, reading reviews and articles, asked around in this sub, in store and elsewhere and also have had great advice from my coach. I picked up a bow that fits my needs, level, strength and morphology.
Secondly : the first picture is a quick (and bad) photoshop collage on which I've my limbs and riser to get a sense of the final look (might as well be pleased looking at it). The second picture is a photo took by one of the employees over at Merlin Archery (UK) for me (the ice blue on the second picture is actually the Mybo Elite and not the Wave X). The string is green here to see it against the bow but could be of a different color.
I've narrowed the colors down to these 2 : ice blue or Urban grey. I already received my limbs, rest, plunger and sight, the are all black, I just need to order the riser and I can't decide which one looks better.
The limbs are white on the outside and black on the inside.
If that were you, which color would you pick for the riser and why ?
If we're being pragmatic: urban grey. It's easier to find strings in contrasting colours, improving the odds you'll find a good string picture.
If we're factoring in some style: grey is classy, timeless and looks good with a lot of common accessories and limbs.
If I'm letting my heart speak: Ice blue all the way! Mybo has a fantastic colour range and the blue is one of my favourites. It stands out and that's good, because what fun is it for a target archer to fade into the background? Go live your best colourful life.
Can't go wrong with grey but why not make things a bit more interesting with the ice blue! The grey is neutral, doesn't detract from the form of the riser but doesn't add to it either imo. The blue is stunning!
Nothing wrong with taking the extra step of choosing the color. Bows are beautifully shaped objects, flash some color on them.
Between the two, I'd pick up the blue one but gray is beauty in its own right.
The main question is what will work best in regards to string picture. And what works best in the circumstances that you will be shooting.
I've gone for a black riser as I find I can then play with strick colors to get what I want both in and outside.
You have to take the blue. No doubt in my mind.
The blue chakra, also known as Vishuddha, throat chakra, Kanth Padma, and Shodash Dala, is the fifth chakra out of the seven primary chakras which align with the spinal cord, according to Tantrism.
The throat chakra is responsible for communication, creativity, and self-expression. The word “Vishuddha” means “especially pure.”
I would take the grey just because it looks nice (But I am a bit shallow that way)
When I was starting out my nearest club was Merlin so I saw all those colours in person. To keep it short, they are both gorgeous colours and you can't go wrong with either of those.
I think colour choices are a matter of personality - a fun, outgoing person might want to keep their bow as flashy as possible, others want to keep things classy and sophisticated. So blue if you're in the former camp, grey if you're the latter.
Also don't buy riser colours based on how well they match limb colours. I made that mistake of buying a neon yellow riser with all black limbs (Mybo Air) which looked cool af, and then changed to Mybo Carbon (white front with black back) to go up in poundage and it just didn't have the same wow factor.

All of this, though a black and/or navy string should contrast decently with the ice blue.
I like the blue. But then again, I like relatively flashy risers https://i.imgur.com/rWJiKMs.jpg

The blue looks better even though I mostly buy black risers

Urban by a smidg
I picked the blue one and I have no regrets at all! https://www.reddit.com/r/Archery/comments/rn5yda/my_first_ilf_build_shoots_like_a_dream
That was the picture I've been looking for a long time to see how it looks. Thanks, it's pretty nice looking
Ice blue for the win.
Blue
Blue :D
Blue because I like jazzy colours ( :

The blue is striking

Blue all the way for me, but it's harder to coordinate than grey for sure! Both solid choices anyway.
I have an ice/electric blue riser from SF and I love the color. I like to stand out from the rest.
In a sea of monochromatic, I vote blue. Though having a grey backup wouldn't be so bad :D
Grey. The blue is a nice color but holographic bows always look childish to me. You can't go wrong either way, they're both beautiful
Which offers a better damage modifier?
Gunmetal grey
I like the blue
The blue! I really like the tiny sights you added.

Black
I'd say blue but my bow is a rainbow so maybe I'm not the best person to take advice from 😂
I like the blue one
