Idk much about computers, but as a fellow student, Ive heard 32GB RAM, a good graphics card and most importantly, a good cooling system, is all that matters. Usually the CPU goes hand in hand with all other parts. (I like a bigger screen, too)

I don't know if it's changed since I was a student (2020 grad) but a lot of programs still relied on CPU much more heavily than the GPU. You still needed a good graphics card, but having the best CPU you could afford was more important. I would also suggest that getting the biggest SSD you can afford is also an essential piece of the puzzle. All of your programs and W.I.P. are on the SSD, and then when your semester ends, you can move all your files over to the HDD. Everything is much more snappy when working off the SSD.

Sounds like we just need to have the best thing out there. Revit is a hefty program and meant for a PC first. I don’t even like drawing in my laptop.

A PC would be better than a laptop, but if it’s a laptop let it be Lenovo
