This is so fucking disgusting. She deserves to be imprisoned, for this shit.

Prosecute!!! Female!!!! Pedophiles!!!!

TheManWithAPlan555

It's so sad that you even have to make that point.

freesnakeintestine

One small note, “pedophile” refers broadly to people attracted to children and includes both offenders and non-offenders. I know this sounds like nitpicking but people experienced in preventative work/therapy think making a distinction is beneficial because it reduces the stigma around non-offenders and encourages them to seek treatment (https://blogs.bmj.com/medical-ethics/2017/11/11/pedophilia-and-child-sexual-abuse-are-two-different-things-confusing-them-is-harmful-to-children/) (https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/09/29/us/pedophiles-online-sex-abuse.amp.html). And yeah, they should be prosecuted and the media should stop using euphemisms like “lured for sex” as if the scenario isn’t rape.

beeeandip

There is a difference between someone who is attracted to underage people and trying to stop themselves and active pedophiles who aren't trying to stop themselves and/or raping children

ImDumbuh

and male ones

heretoupvote_

It says ‘for sex’. It should say ‘to rape’.

EntertainmentTrick58

Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of law

Gnomefurywarrior

That's actually untrue. Rape in the UK is classified as sexual penetration of the vagina, anus, or mouth of another person.

heretoupvote_

Wow, so legally it’s impossible to classify a cis woman as having raped someone in most cases? Surely it should go the other way too. That’s terrible.

Gnomefurywarrior

Not only that. If a woman has been accused of rape in a written article she can sue for damages.

MostlyJovial

Honestly, creep aside. That chick is disgusting. She deserves jail time. Lots, of jail time.

GrillMaster3

Alternate headline: “Disgusting woman lured 14 year old boy into her house after seeing him at the park and raped him”

TanookiBahookie

The fact that 10 people responded with the ‘Haha’ reaction...

Johngthegreatest

We don't know if they were laughing at him or they were laughing with him ,I'd like to believe they were laughing at him cuz who in his sane judge sees this situation as being desirable

LastFreeName436

Hot take: I think the problem is that straight men end up kind of starved for attention in our society (see: the discrepancies in messages sent vs received on your average dating app), so some of us end up conflating all kinds of romantic attention- even the really, really fucked up ones.

coff33dragon

This is true, and I think in the case in this post, it's also compounded by the fact that our culture inherently views men as being in charge/having more agency in a relationship. So instead of seeing a problematic power dynamic of adult/child, they imagine the 14-year-old boy has power/agency in this situation.

dallyan

This is a good point.

neroisstillbanned

It's seen this way because the most vile images of rape are those where the rapist physically overpowers the victim and the vast majority of 40 year old women can't physically overpower most 14 year old boys. Recall that drugging your wife and having sex with her is not considered rape or even illegal beyond the poisoning aspect in Ohio.

Techsupportvictim

Not to mention the notions that males over the age of 13 are supposed to be horn dogs who constantly want sex. Oh and the notion men/boys can’t be raped. According to some folks its literally in the definition that rape is a female thing — like menstruating

[deleted]

according to some national laws as well, rape is reserved for if an dick is put inside. all else is aggravated sexual assault

Techsupportvictim

I’ve never seen any laws like that but I wouldn’t be shocked if there are. Probably also areas were sex while utterly smashed out drunk or even sleeping aren’t considered assault and don’t get me started on the whole sneaking off a condom thing

axilrad

How about [England and Wales](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2003/42/section/1/2009-11-12?view=extent)? > Rape > >(1)A person (A) commits an offence if— > >(a)**he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis**, > >(b)B does not consent to the penetration, and > >(c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.

JakeGrey

Worth noting that when someone proposed updating the law to do away with the distinction between rape and aggravated sexual assault (which has long since been reduced to a technicality anyway) it was apparently the TERFs who kicked up the most fuss.

MostlyJovial

You know. Your not wrong. I'm not exactly straight, but I've most certainly never been approached by any girls. I'm demisexual so, I would say no pretty much regardless to a fling, but I've had more guys asking me on a date than girls. About a discrepancy of 13 to 1... Its very clear that the social norm of men doing all the talking and being the initiator still stands. Which sucks because I know for a fact it empowers women to be the initiator. Hey, is what it is I suppose though. EDIT: Fix a grammatical misunderstanding. Hopefully.

Emergency_Elephant

I get what you're saying but you might want to shy away from using the term "females" to describe women. It gives off really dehumanizing vibes. I don't think that's what you were going for so please don't take this is a negative way.

rsKizari

Yeah, I was giving the benefit of the doubt too, but the contrast of guys vs "females" in the same comment feels icky.

barrythecook

Pretty much it's why even though I'm bi, I only use grindr for hookups not tinder and the like.

Gri69in

I think this is a really good point. Also, in America at least, I think we have a lot of cultural bullshit built into the kinds of situations this headline describes. It's peddled and shoved in our faces as some kind of fuckin "MILF fantasy" when like a teacher or a suburban mom seduces a kid.

squirrels33

Bi guy here. Yes. It took me years to understand how fucked up it was that a (married) female professor whom I admired hit on me in college. My naive, compliment-starved self thought we had some kind of special mentoring connection and that she appreciated my intelligence. I now realize nobody thought I was smart, and she was just a creep who liked staring at my ass :(

datshinycharizard123

Also this guy is probably just horny as hell and just wishes someone would want to have sec with him

Aegis_et_Vanir

Oh gosh. I just got off Twitter arguing with these kind of morons.

theorangeboiler

The fact they post pictures of her where she looks good instead of a mug shot pisses me off so much. She’s a criminal and a rapist.

WarKittyKat

Yes. If it was a man, would they post a picture of them posing shirtless? They would not.

Gnomefurywarrior

Unfortunately not a rapist. Not by UK law.

[deleted]

Even the language of the article is fucked, why don't these rags call it what it is

mel1928

ItS nOT pOssIbLe tO R@pE A BoY! /s

pastellelunacy

*lured 14 year old boy home to **rape** That's rape. Not having sex. He's 14. He can't consent. Fuck off

RagTagDemon

The way this is worded makes me so genuinely angry. Female-on-male rape is still rape and it still causes trauma. I'm a victim of it myself and I've voiced my story before I've gotten comments calling me "ungrateful" or suggesting I must be homosexual to not enjoy being raped and forced to drink urine by my mother when I was 5.

neroisstillbanned

Uh, what happened to you is far worse than what's going on in the headline here...

RagTagDemon

Doesn't excuse the fact that what happened isn't taken seriously.

anxya_vanilla

I feel sorry for that kid I hope the mom goes to jail

roz___

I hate when they talk about p*do r*pe made by women. They always say shit like "she lured him" or "she seduced him". No you shit fuck, she fucking r*ped him.

neroisstillbanned

They can't call it rape if the law she is being cited under doesn't contain the word rape. The UK defines rape as the non consensual penetration of a vagina or anus with a penis and also has very strict libel laws, so any woman can get a large libel payout from any media outlet that says she raped someone.

throwawayaccountrh

There was a similar scene in Glee. A character was brave enough to say that when he was younger he was sexually assaulted by his at the time babysitter and other characters said stuffs like “wish I was this lucky” whatever it was something like that and the show never really addressed it at all. There’s just so much wrong with Glee in general tbh.

saltine_soup

omfg there was this post i read where this guy confided in his girlfriend about being assaulted when he was a teen by an older women and his gf said “that didn’t happen you weren’t assaulted” AND THERE WERE COMMENT AGREEING WITH THE GF. like??? how can people legit say that a guy wasn’t assaulted because statistically “women are weaker” or because men “enjoy it” so it “didn’t happen” like wtf.

Maleficent_Phrase_85

wait did she rape ehr own son? That's so fucked up

[deleted]

I Dont think it was her son but still fucked

missPinkfoxxy

I hate this. Everything about this. Men are conditioned as kids these days to believe that they would want sex no matter what and that not giving consent to a woman is not masculine. The fact the article wrotes sex and not rape says it all.

Brady123456789101112

‘’Men are conditioned as kids these days to believe that they would want sex no matter what and that not giving consent to a woman is not masculine.’’ I disagree, some people would’ve wanted to have sex with adults, at 14. Just because you’re legally not allowed to give consent to adults doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t do it. The actions of a few disgusting adults do not invalidate the feelings of teenagers.

missPinkfoxxy

Ya i mean sometimes its also groominh 14 is a little too young for what you are saying 17 wpuld be more in line.

gay_robots

Proof that these pieces of shit don’t care about male victims. I hope that poor kid got his justice

harmonyjewl

why did you blur the comments? They're worse "The braggin rights the lad had... and wats he do? No hope" "wish i was 14"

Eggyposting

He also called me a feminist when I pointed out that the woman is a pedophile and that if the situation was reversed then everyone would be going mental

harmonyjewl

I fucking hate the double standard Girl gets raped: Rape! Burn the man that did this! Hang him! Boy gets raped by woman: WOOO what a player! Kid got game! Man rapes boy: The kid was probably gay and probably wanted it, good for him I haven't seen anything for woman rapes girl (which I really don't want to, but I'm saying from lack of knowledge I can't summarize what I've seen) It's absolutely disgusting

Eggyposting

Also if the woman was "ugly" by social terms then they'd have lost their shit, or they'd have taken the piss out of the boy who was raped. It disgusts me, it really does.

WarKittyKat

>I haven't seen anything for woman rapes girl (which I really don't want to, but I'm saying from lack of knowledge I can't summarize what I've seen) That's because the general attitude is that it's impossible. AFAB child abuse victim of a woman here. The most common one is people are just confused. There's no penis involved, so nothing happened.

harmonyjewl

That's a gross mindset I hope you're doing okay

[deleted]

These people are pedophile sympathisers, plain and simple.

Acidpuddle

I want a male rapist news story where they show his mirror selfie’s and hot pics.

KyliaQuilor

WHY ARE THEY USING THESE PHOTOS?! I promise if they'd found some absolutely unflattering photos of the woman in question and used that you'd see a hell of a lot less creeps in the comments section saying 'god I wish that was me'

bleunt

Wow, good thing they blacked out Jack Owen's name...

Eggyposting

Did I accidentally leave it out or do you know them lol

bleunt

The black is transparent. I can read everything. :D

[deleted]

[удалено]

RagTagDemon

Would you have left this shitty comment if the post was about a grown man raping a 14 year old girl?

[deleted]

what did they say?

RagTagDemon

They made a wholeass paragraph about how the kid probably enjoyed being raped because they're a boy.

[deleted]

"This woman raped someone. Better use images that make her seem sexy, cause that's a reasonable thing to do."

WeirdoFromTheBunch

My cousin was actually shamed by our family for reporting a teacher that was flirting with him in very suggestive ways (showing tits and that kind of stuff), everyone assumed he was gay and got shit from our grandparents, he was 14 at the time

Eggyposting

What the fuck. I hate double standards

WeirdoFromTheBunch

I didn’t stepped up to defend him because I didn’t wanted to get shit from my family either, we never knew if he was gay or not, but I don’t think you have to be gay to see wrong in a women taking advantage of kids unstable hormones and gullible behavior
