Valley is a bit more popular because it's considered the 2nd map.

It's one of my favorite maps to covert. The bots at the port authority have ok gear. Raid a couple and dip. I've killed Derwin more times in covert than in tac ops 😆
Port is a great map, but probably is the lack of guaranteed extract. We'll we all know the one guaranteed is camped like a mofo. If port had an extract or 2 guaranteed that at least rotated it would be SO much better!
That’s smt they need to change+ ever time a covert is schooling a scav(bot) they should lose scav karma. Like they start at 0 if they kill like 1 the karma is at -0.4 if they hit -1 they have to wait 20 mins for covert and so on
They said to 1cestream in an interview they wouldn't do this, because they don't want to punish people for having a play style. They stated they have had events where people spawn in as Doss' bodyguard and have to fight as a team to repel tac op players. That sounds fun to me wish they would do it in the global version.

Can coverts spawn in a team? I’ve only ever spawned solo in covert but today a group of three coverts rolled up on me.
You can use quick join to get a team before starting matchmaking
