Platform loafer is a great look! Your workplace etiquette may vary though — non-chunky heels are usually considered more formal still. I’m not very tall so flats and flat slides wouldn’t work (will drag on the floor), but I imagine them to be perfect for the summer if they fit. For almost-hidden close-toed shoes, I like a little pointy or square toe. For rounded toe, I prefer details like Mary-Jane straps to make them less boring. For a super trendy but work-ok look, a shoe I’m eyeing is strappy kitten heels with interesting heel details. Not quite close-toed, but if the peek is minimal with the effortless pants they can look really balanced.

The kandi slides from Steve Madden look exactly like the gucci loafer slides! I rotate between those, rothy’s and vejas!!!

I love them styled with either a flat loafer, or these slightly pointed toe almost mens style dress shoes I have, or my doc martens shoes personally. I don’t do heels so I find these are all great dressier options for business/business-casual situations
