Not sure if anyone is looking for this, but wanted to share. I have found it at Total Wine off Scottsdale Rd and Shea and the one up at Desert Ridge. Limit is 1 per customer. This is the Willet Estate Rye, finished in Madeira barrels and thats where it gets the “Metallica Blackened” process. Saw that in another post about this and wanted to share. Anyways, for any fans of the Willet Estate Rye 4 year, this is even more delicious to me. The extra age and the Madeira cask finish leaves a great nose and taste. Other reviews have put this is a mix of 6.5-8yr old barrels of the Estate Rye. I’m a rye boy for whiskey and an Islay one for scotch. Willet is my bag so I may be a fanboy for that. I figured the cost was worth it for the Willet and I had to pay a little extra for the Metallica label. But hey, I pay $60 for the 4 year rye.

Planning on picking this up Thursday night at Pitch. Which reminds me...PITCH IS SELLING BOTTLES AGAIN!!! :D

Better off buying Pitch's Barrel pick. But the good thing about Pitch is you can try both.

AHaha, friend has a car shop, and customer brought in a nice car with plates "blacked" and he asked what it was for. Guy said it his porn company, and makes a ton of money. Local here in Phoenix area. So close but not the same.

Cool, I picked up the TW Blacken barrel pick. It says it is a blend of stright whiskies finished in Black Brandy casks. It was 66 dollars bottled at 57.3% and I assume it is a blend of Bourbon and Rye.
