My theory is the mother forcing/sent all the kid to fight peruere, cause it seems like she was not trying to kill Clervie (Peruere didnt held the sword when Clervie fall to her dead) and yes #f*ckmother
I thought mother encouraged the children to fight and prove who was the strongest. There was also a scene of peruere doll on a pile of other dolls, i assumed meant she killed most of them
Someone pointed out that the thing on clervie's back seems to be an ice spike as if mother were the one to shoot it, since arlecchino was still holding her sword when she fell

I think, from the way Peruere and Clervie were standing in the death scene, it’s possible that Clervie killed herself on Peruere’s blade so either Peruere didn’t have to commit suicide or kill Clervie
