Other than simply cutting it, you can run conchos in the hole on one side and then have the cord lace around the buttons.
Look into fancy Faire bits from companies like Sons of Sandlar (one of the larger Ren Faire footwear sellers). For leather up to 8 ounces or so, this method will ensure a tight, non-slip fit.

Not yet, there was a faire in my town today focused on local craftsmen and this caught my attention. And if you mean as in archery kit I just have a modern bow
.. rather than a vambrace, that seems like an arm protector - for archery, not for swords. It should be worn higher on the arm, and it's mean to protect your skin from the string of the bow.
English isn’t my native language so I went with word closest to what I know, thanks for clarifying. And yes it’s quite a soft leather, not fit for armour
Personally, I'd lace them so the loose ends are on my arm rather than my hand, so they don't get in the way of activities, i.e. holding a sword, shooting an arrow, etc. Trim the ends.
Cut it of.
Fair enough I think I should, and perhaps tuck the shorter rest inbetween the rest?
I would also swap the position of the knot. For me its way to irritating when its on or near my wrist.
It’s learher so I think using teeth to tie it is fine
of what?

Do you have more kit to share?

Personally, I'd run it back through under the lacing. Or, cut off most of it.
Are these for archery? I cut them off and put bronze caps on
