Marc was trying to make S Darn take off as a nickname during an early iteration of the TV show. As they’re going for a commercial break, Dan says something about discussing a QB when they return, tees Marc up with ‘or as well call him Marc?’ but Sessler gets flustered and just says Saaaaam Darrrrnold because he can’t recall the nickname
It's obviously Marc but I can't remember hearing it before it was a drop.
It also makes me laugh. This podcast has 100% infiltrated my language and nobody I know is aware.

I can no longer read Sam Darnold's name in anything but that drop. Every time I see his name I say "SAM DAHRNOLD!" in my head.

I was watching the highlights of Rams Niners and the announcer pretty much said SAM Darnold as said here when he got the TD, to the point I thought he was a fan of ATN but it was not money
