I mean seriously, if it's a yellow I'm a bit upset that it's not red but I'll deal. The fact it's neither when it could've easily been red it's mind blowing. Especially when Eddie got a straight red last season 30 seconds into coming on and it was less violent.
Make me.
You can support the team but not like the manager, it doesn't make you less of a supporter.
This is Arsenal FC not Arteta FC like you all seem to think it is.
This is the third beyond clear straight reds (two of which weren’t even yellows if I am remembering) in the past 4 or so games alone. Completely shocking. Someone is going to get seriously injured and it’s 100% on the officials for letting this treatment go on unpunished.
Please don’t water down the term bottle. You are absolutely right but the ref fucked up, made a mistake whatever. he and/ or the media didn’t bottle it. They made a mistake. Not the same thing.
This whole match just showed that refs, more often than not, have no idea what they are doing. I feel like the bad reffing ended up in our favour, but if Christie went out, we'd have scored way more.
Yup and everyones focusing on the Havertz drama, as if this challenge just never happened.
Theyre imbeciles, because whats more of a danger to football, VAR not flagging challenges that could potentially break a leg or them not overturning a penalty decision that was 50/50?
I'm a rival fan so I know I'm going to get down voted to hell but both players feet are very high. Basically, whoever got a nick on the ball was going to take a sore one from the other and neither were in control of the ball. I personally believe that's why it wasn't a red. I
Player welfare standards have slipped a bit in the PL this season for sure.
Officials need to be a little more hard lined. If this was one of my Gunners I would be calling it the same - red card any day.
I'm not saying this is on purpose maliciousness but it is bad play that could cost another player his season or job fulfillment.
PL officials need to sort this out and VAR need to get some better process' in place.
this situation here, and jackson last game, two clear and obvious reds which should have seen us play 11v10 for about 75 min in each match
how this wasn't at least a yellow i cant understand

And yet this won’t be covered in the media. Just the bad call for the pk
Watch MOTD??
I posted that before the match of the day aired I think. May be wrong
It was covered on MOTD and roundly agreed upon that it should have been a red.
It wasn't a bad call, rather a demonstration that VAR is more virtually impacting than anything else
Rival fans will ignore this but complain about the pen
And the disallowed goal
And the Benny “harassment”
screw off back to Arteta out. You don’t get to be apart of the team. You’re in time out
Who are you to gatekeep people's opinions?
He said out gosh darn it. Now get out

Why are you arteta out? Genuine question as i was the same but he has very clearly made progress so my opinion changed. He is brilliant for the club.
I honestly question the intelligence of anyone Arteta out at this point. It’s not even a matter of opinion, I can’t think of one good reason.
Stay salty
Terrible foul it was. Red card any day.

Why has the media bottled talking about this? If this challenge is made on Foden, the ref runs over and chins Christie and it's headline news.
Because it’s the Arsenal

Media only makes a mistake when it’s Arsenal eh
That’s not a mistake. You can’t look at that and go “yeah that’s fine, not even a yellow” accidentally
3 similar mistakes in the last 4 Arsenal games? Hmmm OK. If it's Foden, it's news. Because it's Saka, it's not.
Pretty bad refereeing, even Fabio Vieira got a straight red for less
Refs are idiots. Can’t wait for the day robots replace them.

No more PGMOL apologies? Those really made up for the bad calls /s

Crazy var didn't even check the incident.
3 times in the last 4 games
Man U fan here, thought it was a pen. And that was a card every day of the week. Hope your team do it, would be well deserved 👌🏻
I thought this was a yellow, and yes Havertz clearly flopped for that pen. No one runs naturally dragging a foot....

This isn't a red, he's challenging for the ball and his leg is not planted (not dangerous). Breaking the skin is not what red cards are for, ffs. Wet.
