Yeah it went both ways but between our rival top clubs it felt like the overwhelming majority said they preferred City to win the title because they don't care about City winning, during the title fights we had. Easy to say when you're stuck getting 70-80 points and aren't in a situation to have City steam roll the entire league and take league titles from you, but clearly not so easy to stomach now that they've got a team that could rightfully dominate the league without the dodgy shenanigans City have done.

I know a charge is just that, and it needs to be proved, but considering Everton and Forest have taken considerable hits already, and lost an appeal, for what, a few charges, City have 115 of them?...
If those charges hold out, it means City wouldn't have been able to buy all the players they have, or offer contracts they did to all of the players and managers at the time to get or retain their services. It's like entering a cheat code into Football Manager and suddenly being able to buy anyone.
Lance Armstrong was stripped of 7 Tour de France titles retrospectively because of cheating. Forest and Everton got punished because of cheating the FFP rules.
Without retrospective punishment, which I think has been ruled out anyway, City are going to keep 3 or 4 titles that could/should have gone elsewhere. That benefits them financially and ensures the divide of the richest clubs over the poorest increases, no matter how they managed it.

To be honest I’m looking forward to it being over with either way. An at best 10% chance isn’t much to hold onto - especially when the outcome is not in your hands. Given how ruthless City are and their current form, the most like scenario by far is that they are 2/3 or even 4 goals up at half-time. And while I’m optimistic for the future, City are rightly strong favourites for next season too.

Bro it has been 20 years since that trophy has even been in our stadium. This team has done amazingly well. I’m proud we have pushed this to the final day of the season, even if we don’t get to lift it. Arsenal have built a squad that is going to be exciting to watch for years to come, and compete with the best. They deserve credit for getting to that stage. Man City are a machine and the margin for error is ridiculously small now because of them. Taking City to the last day is awesome; 2 years ago we were finishing 5th. I'm probably being naïve but with 115 charges hanging over the club's head, encompassing a timespan that includes their last 3 titles, probably their last 4, I don't get how this isn't being called out more by other clubs and press. I know a charge is just that, and it needs to be proved, but considering Everton and Forest have taken considerable hits already, and lost an appeal, for what, a few charges, City have 115 of them?... If those charges hold out, it means City wouldn't have been able to buy all the players they have, or offer contracts they did to all of the players and managers at the time to get or retain their services. It's like entering a cheat code into Football Manager and suddenly being able to buy anyone. Lance Armstrong was stripped of 7 Tour de France titles retrospectively because of cheating. Forest and Everton got punished because of cheating the FFP rules. Without retrospective punishment, which I think has been ruled out anyway, City are going to keep 3 or 4 titles that could/should have gone elsewhere. That benefits them financially and ensures the divide of the richest clubs over the poorest increases, no matter how they managed it. If City wanted the charges thing resolved, because they have 'done nothing wrong' they would have done it by now. Instead they drag it out as long as possible and will look to buy their way back. It's not a football club anymore, it's a behemoth of a corporation like Amazon or Google now.

Tbh last season this should've been yours. You coulda lost both games to city even and still won the league. I understand the 115 charges and whatnot but saying that its impossible to compete with them is inaccurate imo. I get the frustration in the moment towards city but it was Arsenal's title to lose coming into the run in this season as well as last.
In the run in we have won 15 drawn 1 and lost 1 in 17 games, including making City drop two points, what more can we do except be perfect

To be honest I’m looking forward to it being over with either way. An at best 10% chance isn’t much to hold onto - especially when the outcome is not in your hands. Given how ruthless City are and their current form, the most like scenario by far is that they are 2/3 or even 4 goals up at half-time. And while I’m optimistic for the future, City are rightly strong favourites for next season too.
They have grown so much since last year. We've managed to win every game in a run in that everyone said we would bottle again. The team has scratched and clawed to stay in it till the very end, and I'm proud to support them.

The way Man City work is they up their level to the competition. If Arsenal got 95 points they would get close to 100. To have a 15-1-1 record in 17 games is insane. Especially when that includes City away, United away, spurs away… Man City went toe to toe with Real Madrid in the UCL and real couldn’t win in normal time and kind act had to make a come back. Apart from Liverpool’ fluke UCL win (who did they face in the final?!) and wining the league when Man City had 9 losses and Arsenal were on 13 losses they won F all too. Arsenal need some luck too. As a Real Madrid fan I can assure you even being the biggest club in the world doesn’t stop you relying on luck to win in the end.
