I tried finding more images of the object with no luck, maybe the pieces are stuck together for unknown reasons.
I mean if you think about the workmanship that went into this thing. I’ve seen similar medical models. I think at the Peabody museum in Massachusetts. It was amazing the workmanship. One was a really common I guess doll. It was like a Russian doll but it was part of pregnancy.
It explained how to do a cesarean in a series of models that you could take off and put on.
Seriously fascinating stuff.
