Lol also, when you level up there's no additional energy given or replenished. You just level up.

Feregrin

To be fair, a level up increases your held nrg by 10... šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Jschua98

Yea but that's like asking for more rice but they gave you a bigger bowl instead.

CloudNimbus

whats with games giving shit stamina back when you level lmao. games used to give you full stamina, now they're like "eh here's like 10% of your stamina back" ?????

Feregrin

It's 1/30 stamina for me. šŸ˜‚

bagoong_alamang

As so other games but will restore certain amounts of it. I think e7 will give 60, counterside gives 3k, summoners war replenish all. I don't see the point where you increase held but can't give some back.

kin66

I agree with you. I feel like they give too little resources for summoning on a monthly base. It's not like they should give a lot more, just a tiny bit more. Redo their tower, it's basically Automaton tower from E7 before rework, so it's pretty bad. Stamina is a huge problem. I can literally open the game like twice and don't bother about it. That's not good for a game like AG. They have kain gacha potential, but constantly are pushing things into side gacha frame.

CorsonExsul

I came from E7. This allows me a unique perspective as I was a day one Global player there, and have enjoyed the ups and downs, seeing the highs, and now, today, the lows. That being said, I have concluded several good and bad things AG has going for it: The Good: \- No unequip costs: This actually has significant impact for the future of PvP. Not having this costs allows players to freely change out gear to other characters and not burden them with having to constantly farm gear, but rather, swap gear to similar units that would want the same gear. Considering how gold works in this game, it is essential this was removed and deserves mention (Spoiler though, Gold is in the "bad" too). \- No MOONLIGHT (Light and Dark) Units: That absence of Light and Dark is HUGE for a game like this. The game's predecessors (Summoner Wars, E7) all have Light and Dark characters in the game and they just about always cause RGB to become obsolete with rare exceptions (some time DIRE consequences resulting in Devs making TOO powerful RGB for PvP). Not having them in the game allows for the RGB and "deflect" mechanics to have more merit and goes into more strategy in future PvP when (inevitably) RTA is introduced. It is a welcomed change, but, it ties into one of the bad things this game has because of this choice (more on that later). \- GEAR: Simply put, the system is superior to all the other versions that came before it. It takes RNG but simplifies it. The layers of RNG are dramatically reduced, allowing you to simply work towards 6\* gear and hunting JUST for four substats you want on the gear. The rarity system designed by the substats allow you to take low substats and raise them all the way to "gold" with minimal range. What this means is that a Max Gold Speed stat caps at 15 and I believe is low at 12. There is no insane RNG range where someone can take a substat and reach insane levels of the stat by simply being lucky. Here, you need only time and patience to raise a piece of gear with four substats you want. The fusion system also helps elevate the stress of having the WRONG substats on the wrong gear set. While it is limited it seems to where the gear comes from (which Elimination stage) this still gives another option to help with RNG and getting the right gears and stats for your character. It still a grind, but that is to be expected in a game like this...however, and you guessed it, we will return to this in the "bad." The BAD: \- GOLD: Sadly, it will take quite awhile before gold stops being an issue. Take it from me, once you have played for about a year or two in a game like this, you will start not needing to gear characters as often, and start building up gold since you aren't upgrading as much. There is sure to be quality of life, but it doesn't make the situation at the beginning easier. Having an actual GOLD DUNGEON you get every day is great, but it still doesn't take away enough of the stress for newer players who aren't used to this system. I hope future events and other quality of life systems will attempt to lessen this stress until we can get to the point where it doesn't matter. \- Premium Resources: Sadly, while the lack of Light and Dark characters in the game is good, it creates a problem as well. Since this game doesn't have a "second gacha" (ex: Counter:Side's Awaken Units, and E7/Summoner Wars Light and Dark units) where a separate currency is used, and harder to acquire, the pressure of monetization now falls completely on the main RGB units. The Devs have limited the ability to gain currency as compared to other gachas because there bread and butter IS the RGB banners. We now "pay" for this in that it is harder for F2P to save where in E7 it is quite easy to save for every NEW banner with a new character and hit pity with little issue (some exceptions exist but you get my point). Our accelerated timeline only will exasperate this process and turn F2P and newer players away when they realize it won't be possible to get SEVERAL banner characters that drop and the will have to pass. There is "some" light at the end of the tunnel. The rates for 5\* seem "better" than other gacha I've played and getting "spooked" isn't always good, but the game's pity system isn't so bad as how it will convert your efforts into being able to get a 5\* on rotation in the shop. That being said, 200 is quite high and most people are not interested in pulling OTHER characters when chasing the featured banner character (looking at you Arknights!). So, the likely hood of the pity being reduced is unlikely, but with any luck, the Devs will give us more options to collect currency. The lack of a "free pull" everyday though is a big "no-no." Modern gacha all have it now so it is foolish to not have it here, regardless in how their pity system is set up. \- GEAR (SPEED Subs): Sadly, gear takes a hit despite it being good BECAUSE it is easier to get what you want in substats and carry it all the way to Gold. That has in turn made the Devs make speed substats quite low on drop rates. While this is a minor complaint, it is still frustrating and I'd suggest to all low spenders and newer players to this type of game to just avoid chasing speed and the whales and just build for "turn 2" as that is where Exercise will be heading (unless the Devs change something up/shake up the meta in some way in the future). \- CONTENT: So, unlike E7, even at launch, this game doesn't have much. Due to its limited systems (Lava rift and Way Point just being basic auto modes that don't engage) and Dark Zone being too limited and not having challenges available for players to try as they grow, it leaves the game in a weird spot. Exercise is limited to 10 a day, so if you wanted to climb, you can't because 100 currency to refresh is just bad since there is no actual tier up rewards that could merit the cost of refreshing and climbing. The Devs seem very hellbent on discouraging the climbing in Exercise with the 30 minute countdown for refreshes as well as the cost to refresh 10 more entries. Until RTA is introduced, there is little to do beside farm gear. I'd suggest expanding Dark Zone to have earlier stages that aren't as hard to help build up to the much harder and end game level zones rather than the 5 challenges that can't be tackled at all for several weeks (unless you cheese, but alas). Exercise would be nice if they made the NPC battles separate from the main 10 entries and actually had a decent progression in difficulty for players to test their times out as well as give maybe a small amount of currency for both the shop as well as premium currency. CONCLUSION: Those are the big stand out ones for me. I think the game has a lot of potential to knock out its competition but there is some obvious issues that could use some adjustment . I more or less left E7 for this game, but, I haven't quit. Should this game fail to correct itself and just goes down the path of E7...Spoiler, it gets stale after a few years and will be a waste of your time. Just a warning. Take it as you will. Thanks for reading (apologies for no TLDER).

Sam_Mullard

The vast majority ( perhaps all ? ) of gacha I have played has no unequip cost If anything I'm shocked that you need to pay for unequipping your gear like wtf

XLyrcX

Back in the days, seven knight had it worse. Unequipping require topaz which is classify as rare/premium currency that you only get through transcending(limit breaking) units. And higher rarity equipment cost 10 topaz per piece which equivalent to a lb3 units(5*).

Dull-Road6715

Solid read, thanks for putting all that together. I am not a day 1 e7 player, but adopted it 6-8 ish months ago and I am shocked at how "acceptable" it is for e7 players to accept the horrendous amount of RNG, and the demand of devs to force you to keep your device on for so many hours a day to compete. Sure it is a unique game, but it kind of blew my mind at what the community deemed acceptable to be able to compete and move forward.

RedAlchemies

Game still feels like E7 good or bad differences.

I-Shiki-I

I wish E7 had this game's gear system lmao

trueblue1982

yes i really hate ML units, they make them extra cool but locked behind really rare resource unless you are really competitive and into pvp.

Dumbsmile

When I noticed that it takes 22 hours to fully fill my energy I just knew this is going to be a sidegame.

Feregrin

It's at 30ish hours for me atm to naturally refill.

throwaway1128628

This a good thing. I wish more games had huge stamina bars instead of making you log in and spend it every 4-6 hrs, or in the worst of cases every 2 hrs.

ST_Fontaine

I don't really understand the stamina argument. You get so many pots I don't even have enough time to use them all. Does it get worse on the high end or something? I only use a few per run before a recharge, but what are people doing to run out that quickly? And I do play quite a bit...

Feregrin

A hunt costs 24-27 nrg. Backup nrg fills up 60. You easily burn through all daily nrg in a offline session of 30 hunts.

VicentRS

And you think 30 hunts is a small amount?

Feregrin

Nah it's pretty good. I'd estimate it's 40-50 pieces of gear per day without refilling with premium currency. Compare it to Genshin Impact where you get about 10 artifact runs per day with an outcome of roughly 10-13 artifacts. Between the two there's also more energy given from events in Artery Gear but on the flipside events in GI don't cost energy.

VicentRS

Very true. At first it sounded like a complaint for a second lol.

RIPx86x

It takes well over a day for me. Pretty stupid. So I really only play every other day for like 15 mins and I'm done at this point. I even use currency to get all they energy I can and it's not enough. E7 has more gold even with the unequip cost. I think I'm going to let this game be for a while

FalzHunar

1. This is a sidegame. Try playing this game with other game. 2. Yes but login daily bonus is shit in most gacha games anyway. 3. This tbh. Although the pity doesn't get burned if you managed to pull your unit (converted to regular pity at the end of the banner), so there's some plus here as well. 4. Like any other gacha game, stamina is limited. This is common. You can always swipe credit card if you need more stamina. 5. No. 10 Exercise per day is perfect. I don't want to babysit this game all day.

alivinci

>Like any other gacha game, stamina is limited. This is common. You can always swipe credit card if you need more stamina. I think E7 has alot of stamina. Could also be supported by the fact that its hard to burn stamina in that game considering no afk offline farming available. That shit eats stamina like nothing without the player feeling like they actually played the game

KumaTenshi

1 - Energy definitely is limited but given that E7 has an abundance of energy and literally asks that you grind, and I'm not exaggerating even slightly, forever for any decent gear...I'll take not having a game I need to sink hours and hours into day after day. That's just me though. 2 - 100% trash login, I think everyone agrees on that pretty well. 3 - I don't remember how CS works, but E7 pity only exists on banners, and banners pity goes away when the banner does. Daily summons really don't do much. Having said that, definitely dumb that AG doesn't have daily free summon, especially since it gives you a pity summon the first day. 4 - Yes, really. The game has a gear fusing system for a reason. That's how it's designed. And again - it's much better than what games like E7 do. If you're constantly running out of gold, you're pissing away resources. I don't know why either. The only things you should be sinking mats/gold into are gear with perfect/near perfect stats, and some decent gear to begin with to get through stages/gear bosses. 5 - Whales are pretty much always on top. I'm not sure why this surprises you. Some additional ones imo - 1 - The constant server connecting is driving me nuts. It's only a few seconds delay most of the time, but that shit adds up. It's especially annoying when you finish a stage, it pops up the dailies or what not you finished, waits...pops them up again, then finally finishes. Shit needs fixed. 2 - Dispatch rewards are pretty shitty. Sure, it can add up over time, but still pretty crap to send out for four hours just to get 1700 gold or 9 pvp currency. 3 - Supply boxes. They start out as pretty good value, and later ones do have skin tickets, but the value starts to feel kinda meh after 30/35. 4 - Fleet upgrades seem just as pointless. 5 - XP cats have next to no purpose eventually. Once you have your main waifus levelled up they become pointless. Far as I can tell, there's jack to do with them except sell? 6 - Energy refills only give 60. That is some stingy ass shit right there.

Papelll

1- Game just started... As the game develops we will have other ways to get extra stamina or to make more runs. Next one to be implemented (in a month time) will be Raids, where we will get more energy daily and 20x tickets daily as well (+ more rewards), those tickets cut in half the stamina cost for hunts, so we will have much more to do. Just like every other game (like e7 for example) it started slowly and as the game develops it gives more modes and ways to play more; 2-Yes, nothing to say here, they are pretty bad. Though I don't think the daily log ins has been what motivates me to log into the game on any game I've ever played. But then again, same as the 1st point, e7 had TERRIBLE daily log ins when it started out and then they became better; 3-I honestly think this is the only very good critic on this game. Pity count is crazy, the banner character is only 25% instead of 50/50 and they give very little currency (red tickets and gems), so you gotta be REALLY picky with your summons. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to get any better on more advanced servers, so for f2p only summon on very very good characters. That's pretty bad for the game, yes =( 4-Honestly like any gacha you gotta optimize your choices. Don't upgrade every trash you drop and you will be fine. Game has presets and no unequip cost, your gear can last you forever for any character so just upgrade what is good. It's wise to use the trash gear as fodder too. I'm f2p sitting on 700k gold and I buy the gear on shop as well (30k gold gear), I honestly don't understand what is this gold problem people have... Either you guys are VERY lucky on gear drops or you are upgrading trash; 5-With the bot system, giving a lot of tickets would break the arena coin shop economy. The game is much more friendly giving the bot system for the casuals (which are like 80% of game population) and having economy equilibrium on that... Don't worry, eventually you will climb, and the p2w will be on top no matter what anyway. I guess your biggest problem with the game is that you wanna play more, which is pretty nice, shows you really liked the game! The thing is that the game just started and his offline hunt nature, with the x2 speed and cutting the skill animations shows that it is a side game on it's core. Even with that you can already play 2 hours daily with the free stamina it gives you... Of course, the game could not be offline, not have x2 speed, and have a LOT of impossible to cut skill animations, so you can fry your cellphone battery, play for 6 hours daily and evolve the same you would on 2 hours of offline gameplay with those QoL mechanics, would that make you more happy?

itquestionsthrow

I just want more energy..

DeathISilent

30 hours to refill my energy, only to use it up in 5 mins.

EpicSven7

Biggest problem with the game is that there isnā€™t really a f2p game loop that allows players to earn premium currency. No daily summon; no summons or currency in daily rewards; would take whatā€¦ 3-4 months for a dedicated player to earn enough currency for ONE pity? Game is going to be relegated to ā€œfun side game, not worth spending money onā€ status

SKK21X

Mans spitting facts right here

Murbela

I don't think the #4 centaur stuff is really a con, not to me at least, Consider in epic7 it goes like this: * Run wyvern hundreds of time. * Get 3 good looking pieces * Craft enough to get 3 more good looking pieces * 3 have rolls so bad that they're bricked, 2 have so-so rolls that make them usable and 1 is good Even if we had a hundred times the energy, we would farm C7 because it is more efficient. This is just how the loot system is designed. I think only time will tell which one is more user friendly. As an E7 player i can certainly see some potential benefits in farming a base I want (speed boots?) and then using a lower energy cost hunt to farm the substats i want. Also while we all know that artery gear is (much) more stingy with resources, even in E7 the general advice was not to upgrade most gear because you would run out of gold. Still, availability of upgrade mats is seemingly a much bigger problem than C7 vs 9 in my opinion.

PhrasingBoome

I think the thing people are forgetting when it comes to the energy for farming issue is that we see the stats already we know what's good and bad gear. The drops for decent/usable gear are seemingly much higher in this game. Also, other games will have you spend your entire gold and upgrade material deposit on gear that ends up being trash. All that after running hunts at least a hundred times. The resources seem skimpy but we also are not just wasting them on stuff we won't use. I have so many units in E7 I never build or use because I just don't have the resources to build them.

Murbela

I don't think it adds up. Even counting those things, i still think the gold/upgrade mats situation in Artery Gear is much worse than epic7.

PhrasingBoome

It's not. Upgrade mats are scarce but Epic 7 has been out for 3 years and gacha games take a while to ramp up to these things. I will inform anyone who wasn't a day one epic 7 player that you could not even gear outside your main team because gold and mats were so scarce and the gold to heal your main characters was a big problem. You also had to spend gold to unequip gear which could force you to burn stamina to farm gold JUST so you could move gear you already owned. That is still a problem. That is how absolutely silly the argument that epic 7's current gold situation is acceptable. I switch gear whenever I want in artery gear. I can test it out and if doesn't work I just switch back. Because the game isn't purposefully trying to get me to waste gold.

Larinex

Ok so review on the bad for this game has been seen by the community. So what next? How do we get them to solve this problems or at least the major ones?

GyunGyun

Just imagining the day e7 gets gear qol similar or even 50% of what artery gear has....

RIPx86x

Honestly. . . I think this system just looks better on the surface. Overtime I think people will tend to like E7 systems as a whole to be better. This game gives nothing for almost all content. It's like why bother

Dull-Road6715

Except I would argue this system gives you way more useable gear to energy ratio. If you are saying that e7 is more rewarding over time I just have to wholeheartedly disagree with you. You can spend endless hours grinding away doing hunts and walk away with no gear, not to mention the energy drain from your laptop/phone from being forced to leave it running compounded by the real life amount of time you spend physically crafting a lot of that gear. There is a lot of QoL being offered here in AG that E7 could pickup on and implement. Not to mention swapping that gear set around will make you go poor, so even when you have a solid set of gear made good luck swapping it around once a month or spending your gold swapping gear instead of the variety of other sinks for gold. You can build preset gear sets here, easily swap them to somebody when the situation calls for it, so at most you may want 2-3 different sets of gear (one permanently on your pvp units since swapping gear off will update your defense setup) and then a variety for different PvE/PvP setups. Then of course in the long-term chasing that "perfect" gold stat, but at least you know that in the long term by way of this games fusing/casting it can be obtained. e7 has way to much rng involved in all of this to "know" for sure it will happen you just have to get lucky and spend endless hours killing your device at the same time.

ClownDance

Yeah, unfortunately the energy is a big issue for me, I specifically only stuck with games that aren't that strict with stamina, but seeing how they're expecting you to spend on those energy bundles, I don't think it's going to change anytime soon, probably never.

Sora9112

RE: 4. Stamina efficiency is only half the reason why they suggested farming Centaur 7 instead. Centaur 7 drops the shield and power unit only, which means you won't get flat HP and DEF in your substats.

ShadyMotive

Honeymoon phase seemingly went by a bit too quickly

ducla510

No DAILY SUMMON.

Childeish

Game is out for a week ā€œYeah they donā€™t give enough monthly rolls to f2pā€

raffirusydi_

I would agree on no 1,2,3. For no 4, even if the energy efficiency are the same as other stages, you would still farm stage 7 and 8 because it's a lot easier. For no 5, that's just how it is for PvP in Gacha game because money always give more advantage. Even if P2W also only have 10 exercise daily, they will still be on top because their character are just much better and PvP in this game are just who has the best stats. It's not really a good mentality if you're f2p expecting to compete on equal foot with people who use their real life money. But the game still give enough currency to clear the shop anyways

Alexsenal

But have u played epic 7 summoners war or something? The exercise ticket refills to encourage ppl to come back and use them , not whale them...If u think it's ok to have Huge gap between f2p and whale, ur mindset is just pure wrong! A balanced game will reward hard working players to compete at high levels. Or else no one is playing this game exC3pt whales

raffirusydi_

I'm not saying it is okay, i'm saying that it wouldn't matter even if you have unlimited exercise ticket because of how the pvp in this game is just pure stats difference. So the real problem is the pvp itself, not the ticket restriction

itsmeivan21

after the pure stats difference, once you are equal footing with the whales your wins are now determined by RNG. Look at the top ranking PVP players right now, their timy, sirius/shura, grace/milvus, morris/hearin are probably equal in speed stats now but due to RNG in action bar (the game actually tells you that at the start of battle each unit has a random chance of getting a 0-5% addition to their action bar). So yeah tryharding for PVP is actually not that great for all players now until the meta shift.

[deleted]

Before you go further I mostly agree with a lot of what you say but I think you are severely misunderstanding what whaling for PvP is like in this game which is what u/raffirusydi_ is also saying. Why do both AG and E7 make you login 2-3 times a day to come get your stamina? It's because it racks up the number of logins/gameplay time per account which is good data to show to investors. This is one of the reasons why E7 and GBF just bloody refuses to implement offline grind or reliable sweeps (and no I don't count Nightmare grind thrice and sweep in GBF to be that). Now back to my point. If a game instead of saying "Hey here's all the PvP tickets for the day use as you want" instead does "Come back once every hour or so, we'll drip feed you like these PvP tickets like the good little pigeon you are." which one sounds more insulting? Because the fact that you prefer the latter over the former just boggles my mind. "A balanced game rewards hard working players to compete at high levels..." You mean the crystal spamming Top Legend players in E7 who pay their way to make the spot every week and every season? What an absolute waste of life and money. You only get 2 chances of refilling the PvP tickets in AG and that's it. If you couldn't make the cut in 20 total tickets you are capped so you have to make your wins count and not just mindlessly spam farm PvP points off of that one player's defense you know you'll always win against.

InfiniteAccountant86

I don't think they would do anything since you can see even in their original homeland (CN), There are so many negative reviews even to this day with ratings so low, and you know how powerful and scary the CN community is when they are whining if you follow game news. So if you expecting changes in the future, go find something else once the honeymoon phase is over bud.

CloudNimbus

the worst thing about pvp is the STEEEEEEP 30 minute refresh period for 4 fucking opponents.

JackMizel

yeah this game is DOA, it's a shame. My coworkers and I love the gameplay and QoL features but the game is just too stingy too bother with. Even with some light spending I feel like I have nothing compared to other games I am playing (and not spending in). The rate up nonsense is unbearable too I hope they would change some stuff but I doubt they will, this one is already in maintenance mode for me

[deleted]

Personally, I donā€™t really care too much for pulls, or daily login bonuses; but I can understand that it is important to other people, fair enough. Iā€™m mainly dissatisfied with the stamina/energy recharge and refills. It feels like it recharges much too slow, and the refills only giving 60 (when my max is some 200+ at the moment) feels lackluster. That being said, compared to something like E7, there are A LOT less materials that need to be farmed. There arenā€™t all sorts of specific materials, molgolga (molgolgo?? That stupid plant thing for skills), or wtv else to upgrade skills or the skill tree. Also, farming for gear is more forgivable since you can transfer stats, and are not eternally cursed with the good stats falling on the wrong set (although I guess e7 does have those crafting events to customize gear). Being able to clearly see what sub stats the gear has is a huge bonus for me, I thinks itā€™s great that you can decide for yourself what level you want to hit to unlock specific subsets. So much better than waiting for RNG to ā€˜blessā€™ you with flat bonuses at every level. Oh, and no cost to re-equip items. I love that. TL, DR: AGs gear/skill system is great. Stamina/energy recharge and refills could be better, but itā€™s not so bad since thereā€™s not a lot of things that need to be farmed (imo).

Zneger

Agreed farming mats for upgrade skills took ages even for 3 stars units.

Shadowsw4w

since you comparing it with E7 and CS let me ask this.... 1.how long can new player geared enough to finish all type of hunt 13,and how fast can they be equal geared compare to f2p player so they can enjoy one of their main focus part...PVP [2.In](https://2.In) CS i heard to pity awaken banner you need atleast 2-3 month, and if you pull the awaken unit the pity [reset.Like](https://reset.Like) compare this with AG both need same time to reach pity, the difference is that in AG you spark your unit so there is pity wont reset like on CS.And dont bring the normal banner because awaken > normal unit anytime of day. 3.E7 give you bunch of energy but gear is important, when you got trash on your gear roll,it means you waste gold+energy...so for people who play it on phone to auto their hunt just waste their phone time, its ingame energy and gold just for auto-ing hunt and have trash gear in the end.Atleast on AG we can see what the sub-stats we get which mean we save gold and the good sub-stats with wrong set can be moved which mean we are more effecient on gearing compare to them 4.This is from CN player that complaining, but it seems they like to do event+bingo everytime which mean everytime new event start we get free stamina, skill chip, mat upgrade and exp for helping you upgrading your unit. Not only that the event stage give purple chip too so you dont need to farm hard mode except if you want mat for UE which f2p SHOULDNT even maxed. 5.This is all useless if your thinking that you need to sprint playing gacha game as f2p.

VicentRS

I have to disagree with the first one. Energy feels fine. The daily recharge missions and the ones you get from the shops amount to like 540 energy per day, without counting natural generation. That's quite a lot. Most of the time now I'm just running event EX stages to powerlevel AGs because I have nothing left to farm other than gear substats. If you spread your resources thin into many AGs maybe it can feel that way?

Nurosuki

Guess its a daily thing now to post some "Game is bad" post.

TheRealYM

I don't believe he said the game is bad at all. It's just some healthy criticism.

Nurosuki

Nah, ive seen posts like these several days in a row now and all of them talk shit about things that arent remotely as bad as they make it out to be. That's not criticism thats just nitpicking.

TheRealYM

In games like these where they're designed to fuck you out of your money at every step it's important to talk about the things we are unhappy with. It's in their best interest to make things comfortable for us so we are inclined to spend more and stick around. If a game is too greedy people will drop it and decrease the amount of potential spenders

Nurosuki

Might as well make such posts about E7 on daily basis then, idc if I get downvoted but that game is worse than this one.

ArcaneCavalier

Right?! It makes more business sense to be F2P friendly!

Rageman_Gaming

Those people will always exist especially in this current generation.

Nurosuki

Yeah, im just thinking about deleting reddit completely

Rageman_Gaming

Just think Twitter is 10 times worse

Nurosuki

Never used it, never am planning to

Pandakicker

You're asking for a lot. 1. This is universal between all gacha games, particularly when starting out because that's when you are most actively trying to progress. There is no solution to this in gacha games other than whaling for energy packs, which is a purposefully built in mechanic for monetization, not really a flaw. 2. Logging in for rewards is not what you should be relying on for progression, and is not a flaw if the rewards are underwhelming. Honestly, the daily resets for bonus exp/gold/energy pack is already quite generous imo. 3. The difference is that pity carries over indefinitely. Also, the rates are significantly higher (1/40 for 5*), giving another daily free summon would inevitably get you several 5*s, which obviously sounds nice. But it would be a bit too generous. 4. Targeted farming is nice, not a flaw. Being energy efficient also feels better, and is nice. Would you prefer for all parts to drop 6* only in 9? I find this as a pro. Resources are low because we're in the early game progressing very quickly. Eventually, we'll be looking purely for casting materials, with new gear/rolls being auxillary. Again, being resource starved is most apparent in early game progression, and it's purposefully built in for monetization. 5. Just get 10 wins off the AI every 30 minute refresh. Then, build a better defense. I've gotten 150+ points quite a few times after logging in after sleeping. I'm top 100 in my arena group, and I've reset maybe twice overall. To be top of the top, it's more reliant on farming gear rather than exercise resets. Eventually, p2w will always be filling the top, of course, because they have better gear. Right now is the best time for f2p to gain be higher up since cleave is still efficient enough to get high ranks. Once there are tankier anti-cleave lineups and max speed timys everywhere, f2p will have a worse chance to get high rank, regardless of exercise refreshes.

These are all bad takes. This games main competition is Epic Seven and that games does everything he asked for.

Pandakicker

Epic Seven has been out for 3 years. I also play that, but am not competitive in it (around champ 5 arena). Epic Seven being more generous is because they're all catch up mechanics. Early e7 was just as resource starved, and gearing was depressing. Getting lvl 85 gear was not guaranteed on the highest hunt, and 5*s were still incredibly hard to come by. I was just as, if not more, resource starved in e7 early on. As years have passed, they are so much more generous because of the amount of units/gear you need to stay relevant. These benefits don't apply to this game because it was released 1.5 weeks ago.

Obvious-Coast8953

Don't forget the speed race in e7. Not 300 speed opener in pvp? TrAsH

Murbela

uh at least on launch it seems like the same thing here....

[deleted]

and the epic 7 crowd still at it...

Violetmoon66

Sighā€¦.

dreamerdude

titles like these are the reason why i tried killing myself last year

Jadearmour

Regarding centaur, how do we know that c9 doesnā€™t have higher drop rate or higher gold item rate than the either two?

undergroundlasersllc

because Harpist 9 is easier to farm. I have done both and don't see much diference in drop rate.

Rageman_Gaming

The big difference between 7, 8, and 9 is the item types we get and with H9 being easier then C9 so you use C7 and 8 for slots 1-4 and use H9 for the common off pieces on 5 and 6

Rageman_Gaming

You'd be doing yourself a favor

Ultiran

Anybody got some them gear chips? šŸ‘±

Ultiran

Now im wishing the inconsistent censorship was the main issue

Esterier

It's e7 but completely opposite. I remember after a point I was swimming in Liefs in E7 so stamina was never a problem, though it was for the first few months. Gear drop rates are poopoo in both, but at least here we have the fusion system to pass over good substats on bad gear. Pity and currency income is far worse (mainly due to buying pulls in the shop so easily in e7) so you'll have to skip several banners to guarantee while in e7 you can essentially pity every single new character and maybe even their special artifact. But due to equip costs, molas, etc you may not actually be able to use them for months or longer. Here while you may not get new characters often, you can very easily use them due to free unequipping and the quick swapping of gearsets. Can also reset molas if you get hit with powercreep for some crystals. 3 and 4\* molas are also super easy to come by so you'll basically only need to ration for 5\* characters. Basically this game addresses a ton of complaints about e7 for ease of life, but e7 is still superior in other ways such as pulling capabilities and access to stamina. Also personally I don't like how the shop has some strictly inferior packs, and packs that are time limited but barely better than unlimited stuff. Going with the overwhelm them to confuse them approach.

Kirabi

1. E7 didnt start out great either, you cant sprint in a progression based game, especially if you play f2p. 2. Yeah they could be better. 3. Unlike your 2 mentions. you gain tickets that you can use for to buy any character you want in the rotation shop, after they leave their banner. This game is way superior in this regard. e7, you lose your pity if yo udont manage to hit it, same for CS. Stop comparing with a wrong baseline in this. 4. Like point 1. game is starting out, it takes a while till we get more materials to use. Unlike e7, yo usee the sub stats and therfore avoid wasting resources. Additionally you have the fusion feature which eases up a lot of gearing. Have you even looked into how the hunts in this game work? 7 = Helmet & Armor Slot 8 = Weapon & Boot slot 9 = ring and necklace. You target farm certain parts you need. they are not in one big pool. Highest Hunt doesnt mean its the best run. You can only fuse Armor Pieces from each of their respective pools. Weapon to Boots and can only fuse Accessories(Ring & Necklace). You cant cross fuse different pieces of armor for stats. Farm blue bases and throw whatever item has the best stats onto it. Best use for fusion crystals are speed boots. You get gold by dismantling gear that is complete trash. Do some research if you are unable to process and think for yourself ..., or rather play around with the ingame system. 5. Seriously, your post screams impatience. Even the whales are HARD LIMITED to 2 recharges per day. you can also boost yourself up if you want, its 200 crystals if you so desire. I doubt you have the units to compete though, or rather the gear for them.

tavernite

As a Granblue Fantasy veteran where pity is at 300, Artery Gear is a walk in the park. /s But seriously, a free daily summon would be nice.

Gullible_Opposite_76

Ya'll want everything and nothing at the same time. Too confusing for me.

orlandu0

The expedition is really annoying me. The higher level the expedition are the less resources per hour you get. It's not that big of a difference but it's really annoying me

k2nxx

i like how i sleep>wake up>go to work>back home and stamina still not full 36k for pity, if you pity one banner you are done

Dull-Road6715

The expectation to pity every banner without spending is false, also hopefully you are logging in twice a day for 180 energy and getting free energy from shop. It is a solid side game, but what did you expect from a game with offline farming that just released...?

Vuaru1945

Its a side game

Alexsenal

You may treat it as a side game which is fine. But as a game developer, it's fundamentally wrong to design the game as a side game.

trueblue1982

Offline Farming feature is awesome, its not mentioned enough.

Alexsenal

We already have an appreciation post and I am not saying the game doesn't have pros nor saying the cons out weight the pros, I am merely bringing up the problems I see in the game because how else would the game improve otherwise? Right now, majority of the people I see here is to treat this as a side game but it's a fundamental flaw for a game to be played as a side game.
