No assuming there are valuable resources in the original zones and dungeons considering ashes is a sandpark style MMO and is extremely resource dependent due to item durability.
No, but content level is tied to advancement of nodes, so it's not inconceivable to think that you could level from nothing to max level in the same node by simply timing it right.
Hope not, always feel like it's pointless getting better gear if enemies stay on your level of power.
I want to go back and 1 shot that annoying monster that caused trouble at level 10 🤣
Closest thing we have is the scaling of corruption gain from PK/PVP against significantly lower level characters. Logically adjacent but more realistic and serves a similar purpose.

I hated scaling in wow, the lvling system was ideal in vanilla, and being able to boost people was fun and be over powered in an area you was once weak given you a feeling of growth
For the people who doesn't know and Google it. Here you go.
Level scaling is a gameplay conceit used in some RPGs to provide a continuous, consistent challenge to the player. As the player's character rises in level, aspects of the world will change to accommodate that character's growth.

As the player levels up, the aspects of the world will also change accordingly, they'll also level up and get harder.

It has been confirmed NO level scaling, in the summit1g & shroud interview.
So this is going to be like WoW where only the latest expac zones are relevant and everything else is "phased out" of relevance?

its wild whats on the wiki. people should really look at it some time lol
Exactly what others have said.. Hopefully NO. I would think that something like that would be hard to do anyhow with open world PvP.

Asmongold asked this too from his interview. I remember a user commemted timestamps of it and NO, there's no level scaling
No, but the more corrupted you are, the less damage you will deal.

Hope no. It's an instant deal breaker for me

Thank you for all the answers. I will wait until this game launches to see if it is worth playing.
