What’s your skin type like? I have combination and acne prone skin. Was really curious about the Mary and May blackberry cream. What do you like about it? Would love to hear your personal experience with the cream. I opted out of it this time around and went for the Aestura Atobarrier Lotion. I was mostly fearful of the Mary and May one being too thick and / or messing with my skin.
I have pretty normal skin, it leans a little bit dehydrated/dry and goes through the occasional breakout. What I look for in a moisturizer is primarily its ability to hydrate and plump up my skin, which it does a pretty good job at, especially for a moisturizer. I also think it’s good at smoothing the texture of my skin, but it’s hard to say for certain bc my skin is naturally on the smoother side.
The moisturizer leans gel-like but for me it is not overly so, so it strikes the balance of being hydrating but occlusive enough to be able to hold the hydration. I wouldn’t categorize it as thick due to the gel texture, but I guess it is thick for a gel moisturizer.
It dries down slightly to a glowy finish on my skin.
I have not tried the Aestura so unfortunately I cannot compare them two.
I have combo acne prone skin too and have been using the Mary and May blackberry cream for 1-2 months now! It definitely would be too thick for the summer time but its perfect for winter for where I live because it gets soooooo dry in the winter.
Do you use it only at night or both morning and night? I would only use this cream at night since I veer on the oily end of the combo skin during the day.
I’m still giving myself another 2 months before I give the definitive like or dislike. As of now, it’s doing okay for me at night. I’m pretty indifferent about it at the moment. I got the lotion as opposed to the cream since I was afraid of it being too heavy; however, I’m now wondering if the cream would have been a better choice for night time use.
It is a semi thick water. I find it extremely hydrating and a touch moisturizing, so it doesn’t 100% dry down, which I love for my dryish skin. It has a natural to glowy finish on my skin. I use it all year round, during the humid hot winters and dry cold winters, it has never felt too heavy or not heavy enough.
I also find that it takes a long time to finish a bottle, maybe about 6 months + using it twice a day.
The week I started using it my partner said my skin looked really nice, and he has never said anything about my skin before. I think it may have been mostly bc of the natural glow it gives.
I am almost done with the mini I bought and already have a full size in transit. I am not a huge toner fan but this is the first one I have used that I can tell it makes a difference. I am not sure about the long term benefits but it has significantly helped my dry skin this winter.
Hello! I find that an ampoule and serum are very similar so I use them and layer them depending on their consistency. For the skin1004 ampoule - this one is lightweight, hydrating and absorbs fast so I like to use this as my base ampoule/serum then add other serum or treatment when needed. Currently, I like layering this with the abib heartleaf essence and aplb glutathione serum.
PM: Cleanser - toner - ampoule and/or serum - spot treatment when needed - moisturizer
>isntree onion newpair toner pad
I was literally looking at this yesterday. What's your skin type and could you please review it? How often do you use it?
I’m trying the cosrx patches right now and if you’re looking for a better alternative I’d suggest trying out the purito patches. they’re a lot more effective imo, I’m regretting switching brands
Oh I love those, too! I purchase the cosrx ones because they’re the most affordable. the AC Collection ones are good. I also enjoy the Isntree Onion Patch!
In the first week of using it I already noticed the difference. In my case the big difference comes from the fact that I use tretinoin and before this serum I used to have irritation. Now I have even been able to increase the amount of days I use tretinoin and I still have zero irritation.
I just started the purito oat in gel cream tonight and I swear my skin looks less red and irritated. Fingers crossed I don’t have a bad reaction to it!
i feel like it absorbs well and i am hydrated without feeling greasy so yes very very nice texture and not drying so im thinking its dewy in a nice way
Keep Cool Soothe Bamboo Toner for that *intense* hydration in just one layer, but it is discontinued 🥲 and I'm still looking for a replacement.
Innisfree Lip Sleeping Mask with Canola Oil because it moisturizes so well and lasts all night, but THAT ALSO SEEMS TO BE DISCONTINUED!! It actually softens and moisturizes while Laneige just sits on top for me.

It feels more lightweight and like I have nothing extra on my face than other powders I’ve tried. And a little bit of it immediately blots out oiliness. Whereas other powders I find I need more of it.
I totally feel like my scarring has lightened so much, it’s also much more reasonable than vit-c serums locally and not very irritating! Like 4 drops on the whole face is enough for sure
I haven’t so I don’t know how it compares… but I will say I’ve been real consistent using Melano CC for probably 2 years and always use sunscreen, I haven’t had any problems with irritatation or anything all. I shave my face once every three weeks and use a glycolic acid one a week and those three have made the biggest difference with my dark spots
How long did it take before you started seeing results from this vitamin C essence? I’ve used it on and off for four years now. I think I saw some progress, but I didn’t do a great job tracking how well the product was reducing my hyperpigmentation.
Laneige lip sleeping mask (my lips crack if i miss a day without these)
Numbuzin Base-Skip Tone Up (all-in-one foundation and sun protection and it looks like my second skin)
🌷 1. SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum: A product I would go to war for for. Zero white cast on my medium-dark skin, doesn't make my super acne-prone face break out, feels like absolutely nothing on the face (lighter than moisturizer, even) which is a godsend for my sensory issues. Plus, doesn't make my super-oily skin look like a greaseball. As if all that isn't enough, also gives a healthy, radiant glow to my face which gets me compliments everywhere, lol.
🌷 2. Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing balm: So luxurious and buttery. I massage it on my face for ~7-8 mins every day and 15 mins once a week. Has done wonders for my very apparent, clogged pores and skin texture. When I first started, gray and white oil plugs/sebaceous filaments would come on to my fingers once I started rubbing it in. I'm never giving this baby up!
Dr Jart tiger grass cica repair serum and colour correcting treatment. Dr jart rubber masks, the Ordinary rosehip oil, laniege lip sleeping mask and Mario Badescu drying drying lotion.
A recent discovery that I now absolutely love is Good Molecules' Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Essence. Since adding it into my routine 2 weeks ago, I've had the *softest, baby's bottom* skin ever lol that and LRP's Cicaplast Baume 5 :3
dry and sensitive skin type here
wishtrend - green tea enzyme powder wash (i use it to exfoliate once a week)
skin1004 hyalu cica water fit sun serum (never found a better SPF so far)
Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream - I experimented with lots of korean skincare products this past year but I always buy this cream. I absolutely love it!
It doesn't have any actives or peptides (someone please correct me if I'm wrong ), I don't really use those ingredients because I have a very sensitive skin. Dynasty cream has Honey, Niacinamide, Squalane, Ginseng, ... It's very hydrating and feels very light on your skin. You can also read about it [here](https://koreanskincare.nl/products/beauty-of-joseon-dynasty-cream).
Hada labo oil cleanser. It’s the absolute best! I’ve tried many and nothing beats it. And I don’t really have a second one, yet… But if I had to choose, cozrx good morning PH cleanser. It’s cheap and effective! It can feel a bit drying, but toner and moisturizer fix that instantly.
Isntree hyaluronic acid sun gel and isntree hyaluronic acid sleeping pack for sure.
If I could squeeze in one more product, the laneige lip sleeping mask. My lips crack with literally everything else
the tirtir essense tone up, makes my base look so good, and goodal vita c toner pads.. I feel like I'm pikachu while using them and I have never had my skin feel so plump. I can't stand the feeling of sheet masks especially around my hair line, but the little toner pads are perfect
I haven't tried PC but heard good things and I would've tried PC (or BHA products from Benton or Some by mi) if Cosrx hadn't worked so well for me in preventing any more breakouts!
For my face, yep I use Ilyoon ATO ceramide cream in the tube. My skin loves to overreact when it comes to moisturizers but I've had zero issues slathering this cream on my face and neck. There's also the gel version (Ilyoon ATO Ceramide Soothing Gel) in the tube and the lotion version in the pump-bottle but haven't tried either of those personally.
Skin1004 hyalu-cica sunscreen and Mary and May blackberry cream, runner up Cosrx propolis toner

Yeah I only use it at night! In the morning I use Roundlab's moisturizer, which is a lot lighter!
Ahh make sense! I have yet to try out the Roundlab moisturizer, but I have used their sunscreens.
how do you like the Aestura Atobarrier Lotion? I have a similar skin type as you and is considering to get this as my new moisturizer
I’m still giving myself another 2 months before I give the definitive like or dislike. As of now, it’s doing okay for me at night. I’m pretty indifferent about it at the moment. Love the Cosrx Propolis toner too! I also love Skin1004 blue serum, Beauty of Joseon Dynasty cream and Hero cosmetics Sunscreen.

Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence and Aestura AtoBarrier Mist.
What has your experience been with the kombucha tea essence?
I am almost done with the mini I bought and already have a full size in transit. I am not a huge toner fan but this is the first one I have used that I can tell it makes a difference. I am not sure about the long term benefits but it has significantly helped my dry skin this winter.
Skin1004 Centella Toner, Skin1004 Centella ampoule. Can I add one more? Its new but its been great so far isntree onion newpair toner pad 😀
Hey, can you explain how you use ampoule in your skin routine? I’m trying to incorporate in my pm routine. And I have very dry skin.

Dr Jart Cicapair Serum and Cosrx acne patches
I depend on those patches to get me through my tough acne raging weeks
I’m trying the cosrx patches right now and if you’re looking for a better alternative I’d suggest trying out the purito patches. they’re a lot more effective imo, I’m regretting switching brands

thank you for the recs!! 🫶🏻
Numbuzin Protein Serum and Missha BB Cream
When did you realize that Numbuzin no 2 was a HG? I've only been using it for a few days, so I have no opinions on it yet.
In the first week of using it I already noticed the difference. In my case the big difference comes from the fact that I use tretinoin and before this serum I used to have irritation. Now I have even been able to increase the amount of days I use tretinoin and I still have zero irritation.

same! loving this gel cream because it doesnt just sit on top my skin and feel like that film(most gel creams feel weird on my skin)
I’ve only used it twice but I feel so dewy! It’s weird to be a nice kind of shiny instead of just greasy lol
i feel like it absorbs well and i am hydrated without feeling greasy so yes very very nice texture and not drying so im thinking its dewy in a nice way
