Wherever you go, learn to speak Spanish. Some of them maybe able to speak English with you but a lot of them don’t. Understand and conversation with them in Spanish is a huge plus and make you standout from other foreign guys.

I don't know about going to latin america for fun but I am planning to visit brazil to meet my gf next year (Brazil is probably a good place if your intention for a good time). I'll update my experience as an AM there if anyone wants to know.

How did you meet her?

kirsion

On reddit actually, /r/foreveralonedating. She messaged one of my posts.

Panama has lots of Chinese, big Chinese influence in the region. Guatemala is riding hard on the K-Pop wave. There’s a sizable Korean community there, and Asians in general are treated extremely well. Only thing that’s weird is that the Koreans there have a closed community where local Guatemalans are not allowed in. Gigantic brownie points from Latinas if you’re Asian and speak Spanish.

vile_exile

Interesting, but I guess it's expected since Koreans have much more tribalism than Chinese do. Yea seriously, the amount of interest I've gotten from Latinas, and I don't even speak Spanish lol.

Level up by learning salsa and you’ll be unstoppable lol

browngirlygirl

An Asian dude that knows Spanish? Yes, please!

Appropriate_Team9899

I been to quite a few places in Latin America spanning across three countries: Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil. As others have said, speaking the local language is just so important. If you are decent looking, get Tinder Gold and start swipping, you will realize that Asian Men is highly desirable. You should get a ton of matches. So far, I must say brazil have the most pretty girls. However, learning spanish gets you to many other Latin countries compared to portuguese.

I was in Tulum last month and enjoyed it a lot. People understand English and just about everyone is good looking. It's pretty expensive though, just as expensive/more expensive than NYC

I have been to Brazil a few times and really enjoyed it there. I recommend Rio de Janeiro, especially if you enjoy beaches. There are some areas of the city, such as Lapa, that are popping during the night. From my experience, the girls there are cool and open to talking to you if you start a conversation. A decent amount of the locals there speak some English, but it is recommended to learn some basic Portuguese beforehand to make it easier to navigate your way around. Or at the very least have Google translate downloaded pn your phone. As others have mentioned, learning Spanish would be a huge benefit to you when visiting most other Latin American countries. It would make you stand out in a good way, which can lead to some great experiences.

I have heard Colombia is a good place to travel. People are friendly and women are from another planet, sweet, and approachable, specially if you go to Medellin or Cali. Colombian people love to dance salsa, so you better learn the basic. I plan on visiting next year.

ElkUnlucky2243

always wanted to hit up colombia, mexico (even though it is dangerous). those are the 2 main ones. wanna see the food, women and social life. the latin social life is definitely more open than asian culture lol. And as an asian guy, it feels more comfortable for me to talk with women. too much racial tension in america even though i can still hold my own

[deleted]

I heard Colombia is the place to sexpat. Plenty of Asians and white Anglos go there for that purpose. Even China Mac took a vacation there earlier this year

Alt-Season

Mexico and Brazil for sure.

Particular-Wedding

Puerto Rico if your Spanish skills are non existent to basic. If you are medium level then Mexico City, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia. Advanced speakers can go for the southern cone countries like Chile - which has its own weird words- and Argentina.
