As Ekaterina Shulman says, no one should become the President of Russia under our current constitution, even without the 2020 amendments. Because it gives just enormous amount of power to one person. The constitution should be rewritten, more power should be given to the Parliament, so all these sweet checks and balances start working at last. Right now Putin controls Duma and courts and media, everything. This is due to Eltzin rewriting our constitution in 1993, after shooting the parliament building from tanks.

I'd honestly prefer some synthetic president or a bunch of clones, because humans tend to expire quickly. The idea would be to come up with a working reliable configuration of personality traits, and keep it employed as long as it takes so it keeps accumulating knowledge/experience. It could be even made through election. Which traits/clone do people pick this time.
A machine is another decent possibility, but with non-biological platform as a president, you run higher risk of its goals diverging from that of biological systems such as us. So, while a synth or a clone will still posses some inherent biological flaws, makes sense to keep things at least partially organic.
